WHY DID YAHOSHUA HA MASHIACH HAVE TO DIE?

WHY DID YAHOSHUA HA MASHIACH (THE MESSIAH OF YISRAEL) HAVE TO DIE?

(All Scriptures Are Taken From The Scriptures Translation Of The Bible Or The KJV.  Faithfully Translated From The Received Text Or Textus Receptus.)

This will probably be one of the most profoundly simple and simply profound Scripture Studies I have ever written.  Sadly, almost 2,000 years after Yahoshua came to die, was buried in a tomb and rose from the dead, over 99% of the body of Messiah, commonly called “Christians”, do not really understand why He had to die!

Now I know that most of those who are reading this are confounded altogether because they honestly think they know the correct answer(s).  I would agree they know a correct answer, but not the most correct and “Scripturally” accurate answer.

First we need to establish some ground rules for our study.

1) Do you believe that Yahweh Elohim is always the same and that He never changes?

Malachai 3:6 “For I am יהוה, I shall not change, and you, O sons of Yaʽaqoḇ, shall not come to an end.”

Ibrim / Hebrews 13:8 “יהושע Messiah is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.”

Mismore / Psalm 89:34 “I shall not profane My covenant, Neither would I change what has gone out from My lips.”

Mismore 102:27 “But You are the same, And Your years have no end.”

Mismore 111:9 “He sent redemption to His people, He has commanded His covenant forever. Set-apart and awesome is His Name.”

Do you believe that only “The Scriptures” can interpret “The Scriptures” correctly and that it is not subject to man’s opinions, translations and interpretations of it?

2Kepha / Peter 1:19 “And we have the prophetic word made more certain, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, v.20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture came to be of one’s own interpretation, v.21 for prophecy never came by the desire of man, but men of Elohim spoke, being moved by the Set-apart Spirit.”

In Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 3 we find the foundation for our study. In Yirmeyahu 3:1 - Elohim said,

“If a man puts away his wife, and she goes from him and becomes another man’s, does he return to her again?  Would not that land be made greatly unclean?  But you have committed whoring with many lovers. And would you return to Me?”  declares יהוה. V.2 “Lift up your eyes to the bare heights and see: where have you not lain with men?  Besides the ways you have sat for them like an Araḇian in the wilderness.  And you made the land unclean with your whorings and your evil. V.3 “Therefore the showers have been withheld, and there has been no latter rain.  You have had a whore’s forehead, you refuse to be ashamed. V.4 “Shall you not from now on cry to Me, ‘My father, You are the guide of my youth? V.5 ‘Does one bear a grudge forever?  Does one keep it to the end?’  See, you have spoken and done the evils that you could.” V.6 And יהוה said to me in the days of Yoshiyahu the sovereign,  “Have you seen what backsliding Yisra’ĕl has done?  She has gone up on every high mountain and under every green tree, and there committed whoring. V.7 “And after she had done all these, I said ‘Return to Me.’ But she did not return.  And her treacherous sister Yahuḏah saw it. V.8 “And I saw that for all the causes for which backsliding Yisra’ĕl had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a certificate of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Yahuḏah did not fear, but went and committed whoring too. V.9 “And it came to be, through her frivolous whoring, that she defiled the land and committed adultery with stones and wood. V.10 “And yet for all this her treacherous sister Yehuḏah has not turned to Me with all her heart, but falsely,” declares יהוה.”

From these “Scriptures” we can plainly see that Yahweh divorced Yisrael never to be able to return to her husband Yahweh Elohim for as long as they both shall live.  This is directly from the Torah (The Instructions) Yahweh gave to Mosheh.

Debarim / Deuteronmoy 24:1-4 “When a man takes a wife and shall marry her, then it shall be, if she finds no favour in his eyes because he has found a matter of uncoveredness in her, and he shall write her a certificate of divorce, and put it in her hand, and send her out of his house, v.2 and if she left his house and went and became another man’s wife, v.3 and the latter husband shall hate her and write her a certificate of divorce, and put it in her hand, and send her out of his house, or when the latter husband dies who took her to be his wife, v.4 then her former husband who sent her away is not allowed to take her back to be his wife after she has been defiled, for that would be an abomination before יהוה.  And do not bring sin on the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you as an inheritance.”

Also, bothYisrael and Yahudah were guilty of adultery / idolatry.  From the Torah of Mosheh we know that the penalty for idolatry / adultery is death. Wayyiqra / Leviticus 20:10

“‘And a man who commits adultery with the wife of another man, who commits adultery with the wife of his neighbour: the adulterer and the adulteress shall certainly be put to death.”

Let’s review!  From the Torah of Mosheh and from the prophet Yirmeyahu / Jeremiah we see that both Yisrael and Yahudah are guilty of adultery / idolatry which is punishable by death. Yisrael has been forever divorced by Yahweh and according to the Torah, (The Instructions), of marriage and divorce is not able to return to Yahweh as long as they both shall live.

Now we will turn our attention to Brit ha Dashah (the NT) Scripture commentary written by Shaul (the apostle Paul) as recorded in his letter to the Romans chapters 6 & 7.

Romans 6:2-11 “Let it not be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? (Footnote: See Rom. 8:13, Col. 3:3, 1 Peter 2:24. V.3) Or do you not know that as many of us as were immersed into Messiah יהושע were immersed into His death? V.4 We were therefore buried with Him through immersion into  death, that as Messiah was raised from the dead by the esteem of the Father, so also we should walk in newness of life. V.5 For if we have come to be grown together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also of the resurrection, v.6 knowing this, that our old man was impaled with Him, so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless, to serve sin no longer. V.7 For he who has died has been made right from sin. V.8 And if we died with Messiah, we believe that we shall also live with Him, v.9 knowing that Messiah, having been raised from the dead, dies no more – death no longer rules over Him. V.10 For in that He died, He died to sin once for all; but in that He lives, He lives to Elohim. V.11 So you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to Elohim in Messiah יהושע our Master.”

This is one of the two primary reasons why Yahoshua had to die! Both Yahudah and Yisrael were guilty of adultery / idolatry, punishable by death. (Romans 6:23a) In Yahoshua Ha MaShiach Yahudah and Yisrael both died on the cross and were buried, thus fulfilling Torah! He alone is the vicarious, substitutionary, propitiation and atoning sacrifice for both Yahudah and Yisrael!

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the favourable gift of Elohim is everlasting life in Messiah יהושע our Master”.

The other primary reason Yahoshua had to die is found in Romans 7.

Romans 7:1-3 “Or do you not know, brothers – for I speak to those knowing the Torah – that the Torah rules over a man as long as he lives? V.2 For the married woman has been bound by Torah to the living husband, but if the husband dies, she is released from the Torah concerning her husband. V.3 So then, while her husband lives, she shall be called an adulteress if she becomes another man’s.  But if her husband dies, she is free from that part of the Torah, so that she is not an adulteress, having become another man’s.”

Most ministers of “The Scriptures” and hence most “Christians” completely miss the point that the author is only speaking to those who know “The Torah.” Most “Christians” do not even read the torah, much less know it with any real depth of understanding and thus are not qualified to understand, much less preach from these “Scriptures”.

Yahoshua had to die so He could take Yisrael, whom He had previously divorced, as His bride under the re-NEW-ed covenant by His own blood!  We (Yahweh Yahoshua Elohim and Yisrael, were all under the law (Torah, the instructions) of marriage.  As long as our bridegroom was living He could not take us (Yisrael) back as His bride.  However, by His death we were all set free from the Torah of marriage and divorce.  Thus we were no longer under the law of marriage and divorce!  All parties, Yahoshua and Yisrael, were free to marry whomever they will and it would not / cannot be sin by the transgression of “The Torah” of marriage! Hallelu-Yah!

Romans 7:4 “So my brothers, you also were put to death to the Torah (of marriage) through the body of Messiah, for you to become another’s (betrothed wife), the One who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to Elohim.”

Now forever and a day most of the “church” has been led to believe two abominable and un-Scriptural doctrines.  The first is that the covenant was for Yisrael in the “Old Testament” and for the “church” in the “New Testament”.  This is a blasphemy of ‘The Scriptures” to the highest degree.  You cannot show one “Scripture” anywhere in your “Bible” that there ever was or is a Heavenly covenant established with any gentile nation(s) or with “the church”.  If you will search it out in your concordance you will find “the church” is found more often in the Old Covenant Scriptures than the re-new-ed ones. (Strong’s H122 קהל, qâhâl, kaw-hwl as compared to Stong’s G116 ἐκκλησία, ekklēsia, ek-klay-see'-ah, respectfuly.)

The second blasphemous doctrine goes hand and hand with the first.  It is the belief that Yahweh has forever done away with both Yahudah and Yisrael.  Nothing could be farther from the Truth! Just look to “The Scriptures”!

Yirmeyahu / Jeremiah 31:31-37 “See, the days are coming,” declares יהוה, “when I shall make a new covenant with the house of Yisra’ĕl and with the house of Yahuḏah, (Footnote: See Ibrim / Hebrews 8:8-12, Ibrim / Hebrews 10:16-17. V.32) not like the covenant I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Mitsrayim, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them,” declares יהוה. V.33 “For this is the covenant I shall make with the house of Yisra’ĕl after those days, declares יהוה: I shall put My Torah in their inward parts, and write it on their hearts.  And I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people. V.34 “And no longer shall they teach, each one his neighbour, and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know יהוה,’ for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares יהוה.  “For I shall forgive their crookedness, and remember their sin no more.” V.35 Thus said יהוה, who gives the sun for a light by day, and the laws of the moon and the stars for a light by night, who stirs up the sea, and its waves roar – יהוה of hosts is His Name: v.36 “If these laws vanish from before Me,” declares יהוה, “then the seed of Yisra’ĕl shall also cease from being a nation before Me forever.” V.37 Thus said יהוה, “If the heavens above could be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I would also cast off all the seed of Yisra’ĕl for all that they have done,” declares יהוה.”

Ibrim / Hebrews 8:8-13 “For finding fault with them, He says, “See, the days are coming,” says יהוה, “when I shall conclude with the house of Yisra’ĕl and with the house of Yahuḏah a renewed covenant, v.9 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Mitsrayim, because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them,” says יהוה. V.10 “Because this is the covenant that I shall make with the house of Yisra’ĕl after those days, says יהוה, giving My laws in their mind, and I shall write them on their hearts, and I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people. V.11 “And they shall by no means teach each one his neighbour, and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know יהוה,’ because they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. V.12 “Because I shall forgive their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawlessnesses I shall no longer remember.” V.13 By saying, ‘renewed,’ He has made the first old.  Now what becomes old and growing aged is near disappearing.”

From both the Tanank (OT) and Brit ha Dashah (NT) we can plainly see that the re-NEW-ed covenant is only for Yisrael by favor through faith and Yahudah by favor through faith!  Now what is it exactly that was done away with?  Was it the perfect covenant (Mismore / Psalm 19:7) and set-apart covenant (The Instructions) that will never pass away (Mattithayahu / Matthew 24:35) or was it the inferior Levitical Priesthood?  If you look carefully at your Authorized King James manuscript you will notice that the word covenant in Ibrim / Hebrews 8:7 is italicized, meaning that this word is not found in any of the manuscripts they translated from.

From Ibrim / Hebrews 5 forward the author has been comparing the inferior Levitical Priesthood to the Superior Malek – Zedek (Melchizedek) priesthood.  Now in Ibrim 8:8 the author states He found fault with them (the priesthood), not it (the old covenant scriptures).  The same is true of Ibrim 9:1.  Again, the word covenant is italicized and is not found in any of the manuscripts the various Bible have been translated from.  By careful examination you can readily see it was the Levitical Priesthood that was given the divine ordinances of The Tabernacle service and thus it should have been rendered priesthood not covenant! Hallelu-Yah!

Obviously, this correct and Scriptural understanding has profound implications on everything we previously believed to be true.  Several questions must be answered immediately.

The first question quite naturally would be, “Am I a part of Yisrael or Yahudah?”  The most correct answer is, both!  Yisrael of the Old Covenant Scriptures became the gentiles who were scattered to the nations under the re-NEW-ed Covenant Scriptures.  In BC 723 the ten tribes of northern Yisrael were scattered by the king of Assyria and they never returned to their inheritance because they were divorced by Yahweh Elohim Yahoshua!

This is told to us repeatedly throughout the re-new-ed covenant.

1Kepha / Peter 1:1 “Kĕpha, an emissary of יהושע Messiah, to the chosen, strangers of the dispersion in Pontos, Galatia, Kappadokia, Asia, and Bithunia, v.2 chosen according to the foreknowledge of Elohim the Father, set apart by the Spirit unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of יהושע Messiah: Favour and peace be increased to you.”

Yaʽaqoḇ / James 1:1 “Yaʽaqoḇ, a servant of Elohim and of the Master יהושע Messiah, to the twelve tribes who are in the dispersion: Greetings.”

Yahweh Elohim told Yirmeyahu / Jeremiah that Yahudah was a green olive tree whose branches would be broken.

Jeremiah / Yirmeyahu 11:16 “יהוה has named you, ‘Green Olive Tree, Fair, of Goodly Fruit.’ With the noise of a great sound He has set it on fire, and its branches shall be broken.”

This is exactly what Shaul / Paul was speaking of in Romans.

Romans 11:16-29 “Now if the first-fruit is set-apart, the lump is also. And if the root is set-apart, so are the branches. V.17 And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, have been grafted in among them, and came to share the root and fatness of the olive tree, v.18 do not boast against the branches. And if you boast, remember: you do not bear the root, but the root bears you! V.19 You shall say then, “The branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” v.20 Good!  By unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by belief.  Do not be arrogant, but fear. V.21 For if Elohim did not spare the natural branches, He might not spare you either. V.22 See then the kindness and sharpness of Elohim: on those who fell sharpness, but toward you kindness, if you continue in His kindness, otherwise you also shall be cut off. V.23 And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, shall be grafted in, for Elohim is able to graft them in again. V.24 For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree, how much more shall these who are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? V.25 For I do not wish you to be ignorant of this secret, brothers, lest you should be wise in your own estimation, that blinding in part has come over Yisra’ĕl (Yahudah – Romans 9:24), until the completeness of the gentiles (Yisrael – Romans 9:25-26) has come in.  And so all Yisra’ĕl shall be saved (The Whole House of Yisrael, Yahudah and Yisrael), as it has been written, “The Deliverer shall come out of Tsiyon, and He shall turn away wickedness from Yaʽaqoḇ, v.27 and this is My covenant with them (Yisrael & Yahudah), when I take away their sins.” V.28 Truly, as regards the Good News they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. V.29 For the gifts and the calling of Elohim are not to be repented of.”

Please note two very important Truths that most people completely miss when they read Romans 11.

1) Yisrael / the gentiles already were Olive Branches. They were simply Wild Olive Branches because they were not dwelling in the land of inheritance.  The tree is always a green olive tree (the whole house of Yisrael) of whom Yahoshua is the root!

The entire book of Hoshea is written to dispersed Yisrael.  Hear the Word of Yahweh Elohim!

Hoshea 14:4-6 “I shall heal their backsliding, I shall love them spontaneously, for My displeasure has turned away from him. v.5 “I shall be like the dew to Yisra’ĕl. He shall blossom like the lily, and cast out his roots like Leḇanon. v.6 “His branches shall spread, and his splendour shall be like an olive tree, and his fragrance like Leḇanon.

2) Yahudah is blinded in part. “The Scriptures” themselves testify that Yisrael / The Gentiles also are blinded in part until Yahoshua comes. The first testimony comes to us because “The Scriptures” are a two-edged sword (Ibrim / Hebrews 4:12) and it is thus self evident that both Yahudah and Yisrael are both blinded partially.  A second witness is found in 1 Corinthians 13:12.

“For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” 1 Cor. 13:12

By the inspiration of Ruach Ha Chodesh (the Set-apart Spirit) Rav Shaul (the Apostle Paul) was led to reference the three southern tribes of Yahudah as their rightful inheritance Yisrael by their father Ya acob and he was also led to reference Yisrael as the gentiles. This was part of the divine plan all along, to veil the hearts of Yisrael (the gentiles) even as the hearts of the Yahudim (the Jews) had already been veiled.

We understand this is 100% true from Hoshea 1:6-10.  Hoshea is a type and shadow of Yahoshua Ha MaShiach.  He is given the same name as Hoshea son of Nun whom Mosheh changed to Yahoshua.

Bemidbar / Numbers 13:16 “These are the names of the men whom Mosheh sent to spy out the land. And Mosheh called Hoshĕa the son of Nun, Yahoshua.”

Hoshea 1:6-10 “And she conceived again and bore a daughter.  And He said to him, “Call her name Lo-Ruḥamah, for no longer do I have compassion on the house of Yisra’ĕl so as to forgive them at all. V.7 “But I shall have compassion on the house of Yehuḏah and save them by יהוה their Elohim, and not save them by bow or by sword or battle, by horses or horsemen.” V.8 And she weaned Lo-Ruḥamah, and conceived and bore a son, V.9 then He said, “Call his name Lo-Ammi, for you are not My people, and I am not for you. V.10 “Yet the number of the children of Yisra’ĕl shall be as the sand of the sea, which is not measured nor counted.  And it shall be in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’ they shall be called, ‘You are the sons of the living Ěl.’”

Rav Shaul already explained to everyone reading the letter to the Romans that you cannot understand what he was saying apart from the TaNaKh (OT). (Roman 7:1)  Our limited understanding of Torah keeps us from understanding that the entire TaNaKh is the Torah (the instructions) as well as the Brit ha DaShah  (New Testament).  In most churches today, they have been taught the entire “Holy Bible” is the Torah (the instructions) without even really understanding what we are saying. He Only Left You Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.

Rav Shaul (Rabbi Paul) quotes from the book of Hoshea directly in Romans 9. Hoshea was primarily a prophet to Yisrael, not to Yahudah!

Romans 9:23-26 “and that He might make known the riches of His esteem on vessels of compassion, which He had prepared beforehand for esteem, V.24 even whom He called, not only us of the Yahuḏim, but also of the gentiles (Yisrael!)? V.25 As He says in Hoshĕa too, “I shall call them My people, who were not My people, and her beloved, who was not beloved.” V.26 “And it shall be in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’ there they shall be called sons of the living Elohim.”

There is absolutely no way any intellectually honest person can deny that Yisrael scattered to the nations in Hoshea is the very gentiles that Rav Shaul is speaking of in Romans 9-11. This witness of Hoshea is repeated in chapter 2:19-23

Hoshea 2:19-23 “And I shall take you (Yisrael) as a bride unto Me forever, and take you as a bride unto Me in righteousness, and in right-ruling, and kindness and compassion. V.20 “And I shall take you as a bride unto Me in trustworthiness, and you shall know יהוה. V.21 “And it shall be in that day that I answer,” declares יהוה, “that I answer the heavens, and they answer the earth, v.22 and the earth answer the grain and the new wine and the oil, and they answer Yizreʽĕl. V.23 “And I shall sow her for Myself in the earth, and I shall have compassion on her who had not obtained compassion. And I shall say to those who were not My people, ‘You are My people,’ while they say, ‘My Elohim!’ ”

Now I know we have been brainwashed forever and a day that we are gentiles and we are not Yisrael by our religious systems and I also know there are some “Scriptures” that seem to testify to this being a reality.  However, this reckoning is only established because we do not fully understand the Hebraic, or more specifically “Jewish”, definition of gentile.

At the time of the first century a gentile was considered anyone who was not a Yahudim (Jew) by birth or a Yahudite (Jewish) convert.  The reasoning for this is quite simple.  Their 10 brothers (Northern Yisrael) had fully immersed themselves in the pagan world and could no longer be distinguished in any way as being a people in covenant with Yah, because they had been divorced under the law, (The Torah)!

This understanding is further confirmed by the Yahudim historian Josephus. Josephus not only spoke of knowing the locations of the 10 tribes who were scattered in dispersion throughout the nations of the world from the 6th century BC until his day, but he also specifically refers to them as gentiles.

This is further testified to in Acts 15:19-21

“Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the gentiles who are turning to Elohim, V.20 but that we write to them to abstain from the defilements of idols, and from whoring, and from what is strangled, and from blood. V. 21 “For from ancient generations Mosheh has, in every city, those proclaiming him – being read in the congregations every Sabbath.”

Many have interpreted these “Scriptures” falsely to say the gentile (N. 10 Tribes of Yisrael) converts did not have to keep “The Torah”, but only had to follow the three simple rules found in verse 20. They completely miss verse 21 all together that plainly says everything else they will need to learn about following Yahoshua ha MaShiach is taught every Sabbath, in every city all over the known world.

How come the TaNaKh (OT) was distributed to every city?  Because all of Yisrael and most of Yahudah (approximately 90%) never returned to the promised land after they were exiled by the king of Assyria and the king of Babylon, respectively. As they wandered from place to place Yisrael and Yahudah took “The Torah” with them, thus evangelizing the whole world with “The Torah”!

Yahweh Elohim prophesied through the prophet Yehezkel / Ezekiel that He was reconciling to Himself one people through Messiah. These people were Yahudah and Yisrael. The translators rendered the prophecy one stick, however it is more correctly understood as one TREE as in ONE OLIVE TREE!

Yehezkel / Ezekiel 37:19-24 “say to them, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה, “See, I am taking the stick (Olive Tree) of Yosĕph, which is in the hand of Ephrayim, and the tribes of Yisra’ĕl, his companions.  And I shall give them unto him, with the stick (Olive Tree) of Yahuḏah, and make them one stick (Olive Tree), and they shall be one in My hand.” ’ v.20 “And the sticks on which you write shall be in your hand before their eyes. V.21 “And speak to them, ‘Thus said the Master יהוה, “See, I am taking the children of Yisra’ĕl from among the gentiles, wherever they have gone, and shall gather them from all around, and I shall bring them into their land. V.22 “And I shall make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Yisra’ĕl.  And one sovereign shall be sovereign over them all, and let them no longer be two nations, and let them no longer be divided into two reigns. V.23 “And they shall no longer defile themselves with their idols, nor with their disgusting matters, nor with any of their transgressions.  And I shall save them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and I shall cleanse them.  And they shall be My people, and I be their Elohim, v.24 while Dawiḏ My servant is sovereign over them.  And they shall all have one shepherd and walk in My right-rulings and guard My laws, and shall do them.”

Whereas we, all the believers in Messiah, are rightfully called Yisrael we are also rightfully called Yahudah!  Our hearts were circumcised by conversion when we received our Messiah!

Romans 2:28-29 “For he is not a Yahuḏite (Jew) who is so outwardly, neither is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. V.29 But a Yahuḏite is he who is so inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in Spirit, not literally, whose praise is not from men but from Elohim.

Now, lest anyone accuse me falsely, I am not preaching replacement theology! Yisrael and Yahudah of the old covenant and of the re-NEW-ed covenant has always been by Yahweh’s unmerited favor through faith! A good maxim of correctly studying and understanding “The Scriptures” is, “If it is true, it is not new!” and conversely “If it is new it is not true!” Sadly, most who profess this do not actually believe it!

In both the old covenant and the re-NEW-ed covenant “Scriptures” we find out of the twelve tribes there is always true Yisrael by favor through faith and apostate Yisrael by false religious systems of works and co-mingling the set-apart with the profane. They have always co-existed together until Yahoshua comes as sovereign Judge and King.

All of Yisrael (including the strangers and the mixed multitude – Shemoth / Exodus 12:38) were saved / delivered / born again by covenant when by belief they placed their full trust in the favor given them by the blood of the Passover lamb that covered each household.  Ruach ha Chodesh (the Set-apart Spirit) came into each and every home, passing over the threshold of each door way, in the land of Goshen, and indwelled each one, as the messengers of death passed through the land.

True Yisrael has always been by His favor through faith! It has never been by racial progeny!  If unmerited favor ever depended on who your daddy is then why was Yishmael excluded from the covenant of his father Abraham?  How come Esau is excluded from the covenant of his father’s Abraham and Isaac?  How come Yahudah Iscariot is excluded as the “Son of Destruction?”

Clearly, Yahweh’s favor is always by faith, not by works.  Yahweh Elohim Yahoshua does not change.  He is always the same yesterday, today and forever. (Malachai 3:6 and Ibrim / Hebrews 13:8)

We have come into covenant, and the promises thereof, by adoption and there can be no doubt that the covenant is only for Yisrael and for Yahudah, the whole house of Yisrael, the Green Olive Tree!

Ephesians 2:10-17 “For we are His workmanship, created in Messiah יהושע unto good works, which Elohim prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. V.11 Therefore remember that you, once gentiles in the flesh (Yisrael dispersed to the nations), who are called ‘the uncircumcision’ by what is called ‘the circumcision’ made in the flesh by hands, v.12 that at that time you were without Messiah, excluded from the citizenship of Yisra’ĕl and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no expectation and without Elohim in the world. V.13 But now in Messiah יהושע you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of the Messiah. V.14 For He is our peace, who has made both one, and having broken down the partition of the barrier, v.15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity – the Torah of the commands in dogma – so as to create in Himself one renewed man from the two (Yisrael and Yahudah), thus making peace, v.16 and to completely restore to favour both of them unto Elohim in one body (the whole house of Yisrael) through the stake, having destroyed the enmity by it. V.17 And having come, He brought as Good News peace to you who were far off (the Ten N. Tribes of Yisrael), and peace to those near (Yahudah). V.18 Because through Him we both (Yisrael and Yahudah) have access to the Father by one Spirit. V.19 So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens (Of Yisrael) with the set-apart ones and members of the household of Elohim,”

Romans 8:14-17 “For as many as are led by the Spirit of Elohim, they are the sons of Elohim. V.15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received ha Ruach (the Spirit) of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. V.16 Ha Ruach (The Spirit) itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of Elohim: v.17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of Elohim, and joint-heirs with Messiah; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together.”

A cursory glance at the whole counsel of “The Scriptures” from Abraham forward reveals
the saints of Yahweh could only marry within their own family tree or someone who converted to the house of Yisrael. e.g. Ruth the Moabitess

We have been adopted into the family of Yisrael so that we may be eligible for our upcoming marriage to the groom, Yahoshua ha MaShiach!  As we have already witnesses there is only one bride in all of “The Scriptures”!  Her name is Yisrael! (Hoshea 2:19-23)

Ephesians 5:31-32 “For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” V.32 This secret is great, but I speak concerning Messiah and the assembly (of Yisrael).

“The Scriptures” plainly declare to whom the inheritance of adoption belongs to.

“who are Yisra’ĕlites, whose is the adoption” ~ Romans 9:4

Most people do not know why the adoption pertains to Yisrael.  To find out the answer we have to return to “The Torah”!  Our father Ya‘acob when he was nearing the end of his life adopted both of the sons of Yoseph and made them as if they were his own children by birth.  This is why there is no tribe of Yoseph named among the twelve tribes of Yisrael.  Previously, Ya‘acob’s name was changed by Yahweh to Yisrael!  To Yisrael pertains the adoption!

Bereshith / Genesis 48:14-20 “And Yisra’ĕl stretched out his right hand and laid it on Ephrayim’s head, who was the younger, and his left hand on Menashsheh’s head, consciously directing his hands, for Menashsheh was the first-born. v.15 And he blessed Yosĕph, and said, “The Elohim before whom my fathers Aḇraham and Yitsḥaq walked, the Elohim who has fed me all my life long to this day, v.16 the Messenger who has redeemed me from all evil – bless the youths! And let my name be called upon them, and the name of my fathers Aḇraham and Yitsḥaq.  And let them increase to a multitude in the midst of the earth.” v.17 And when Yosĕph saw that his father laid his right hand on the head of Ephrayim, it was evil in his eyes; and he took hold of his father’s hand to remove it from the head of Ephrayim to the head of Menashsheh. v.18 And Yosĕph said to his father, “Not so, my father, for this one is the first-born, put your right hand on his head.” v.19 But his father refused and said, “I know, my son, I know.  He also becomes a people, and he also is great.  And yet, his younger brother is greater than he, and his seed is to become the completeness of the nations.” v.20 And he blessed them on that day, saying, “In you Yisra’ĕl shall bless, saying, ‘Elohim make you as Ephrayim and as Menashsheh!’ ”  Thus he put Ephrayim before Menashsheh.”

Bereshith / Genesis 32:28 “And He said, “Your name is no longer called Yaʽaqoḇ, but Yisra’ĕl, because you have striven with Elohim and with men, and have overcome.”

It is also of great importance to know Ephraim was to become “the First Born” of Yisrael and His name would become interchangeable and in fact synonymous with the other ten tribes of the north, as was Samaria the Capitol city of Yisrael.

YirmeYahu / Jeremiah 31:9  They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

Hoshea 7:1 “Whenever I would heal Yisra’ĕl, then the crookedness of Ephrayim is uncovered, and the evil deeds of Shomeron (Samaria).  For they have wrought falsehood, and a thief comes in, a band of robbers raids outside.”

Why is it so important to realize these two eternal truths?  Because by adoption, we have become the firstborn sons of the living Elohim!  Proving we are the Ephraimites (firstborn sons) of Yisrael! (Yahonan 1:12 & Romans 8:14-17)

It is amazing how many will claim that they believe these “Scriptures” are true and then proceed to tell you how Yahweh’s plan for salvation was for Yisrael in the TaNaKh (OT) and then for the “church” in the first century.  How double minded can you possibly be?

There are at least 13 passages of “Scripture” in the TaNaKh (OT) that testify to the dispersion of Yahweh’s people, the whole house of Yisrael, throughout the entire world.

Debarim / Deuteronomy 4:27-29, 28:62-64, Yirmeyahu / Jeremiah 9:13-16, Way yiqra / Leviticus 26:14-16, 28 & 33, Yehezkel / Ezekiel 5:10, 6:8, 12:15, 20:23-24, 22:14-15, 36:19-20, Zechariah 2:6, 7:13-14, Nehemiah 1:8

There are another 26 passages that testify to the re-gathering of the whole house of Yisrael.

Yirmeyahu / Jeremiah 16:14-16, 16:19-21, 23:3, 29:10-14, 29:13-14, 30:3, 32:37-41, 32:44, 33:7-9, 23:8 Debarim / Deuteronomy 30:3, Debarim 30:4, Yeshayahu / Isaiah 11:12-13, 43:5-6 & 8-9, Micah 2:12, Yehezkel / Ezekiel 11:16-17, 20:41-44, 28:25-26, 34:11-16 & 23, 36:24-37, 37:22-28, Zephaniah 3:19, Hosea 8:10, Zechariah 10:8, Nehemiah 1:9, Mismore / Psalm 147:2,

Most “Christians” do not want to acknowledge the validity of this teaching for the primary reason that their current “Christian” cult does not / will not acknowledge it and they are bound by the tradition of their cult (church), rather than truth.  The second reason they will reject this teaching is because if we are in fact Yisrael then we are bound by the constitution Yahweh Elohim gave us in the wilderness at Mt. Sinai and most “Christians” are forever content with their lawless or more accurately Torah-less state.   Hear the Word of your Messiah!

Mattithyahu 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Master, Master,’ shall enter into the reign of the heavens, but he who is doing the desire of My Father in the heavens. V.22 “Many shall say to Me in that day, ‘Master, Master, have we not prophesied in Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and done many mighty works in Your Name?’ v.23 “And then I shall declare to them, ‘I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work lawlessness (Torahlessness)!’

There is only one group of people on the planet that fit the description of these verses and they are called, born again, spirit filled, evangelical, fundamental, catholic “Christians”.  This group of people fully expect to enter into Yahoshua’s esteem and Kingdom and are going to be shell shocked to find out they are not even welcome, by the Messiah Yahoshua, Himself.

Now, lest anyone believe, falsely that this passage of “Scripture” does not apply to them because they have been a “Christian” their whole life, I would like to point out that this word “knew” is the same word that the first Adam knew his wife intimately in the consummation of their marriage.  No one will know their husband Y’shua ha MaShiach with this depth of intimacy until He comes for His bride at the resurrection.

If you really want to understand the fullness of this, (your salvation / justification, perfection / set-apartness and your celestial esteem), you must study and learn ancient Hebrew wedding customs and traditions.  The entire understanding of why Yahoshua came the first time and why is coming again a second time only make sense in light of the picture of the ancient Semitic wedding customs.   I have provided two different links for those who are interested in learning more about this most important topic of study.

Most “Christians” would rather believe the lie that the law (Torah) has been done away with at the cross than to ever be bothered with the hearing of it and the doing of it.  According to traditional counting there are 613 different commands in “The Torah”.  Most of these commands do not even apply to the average person.  The commands for men do not apply to women, for example.  Then there are commands for the Levites, for the priesthood, for the tabernacle and for living in the land of Yisrael itself.

By way of comparison, when you add up all the local, state and national commands of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA it comes to about 60 million commands.  There are more than 600 different commands that apply just to the average driver driving down the road. Amazingly, every “Christian” will not even give it a second thought to know every command that pertains to them driving a motor vehicle.  They never, ever say, “well I now am under grace because of the cross and so now I do not have to obey the laws of the land that pertain to driving a vehicle.”

Talk about being under the law!  Give it a rest already!  Even the SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA has ruled, in 2006, that ignorance of the law was now a justifiable excuse for breaking the law seeing how there are too many laws for the average person to even know, much less to obey.

However, when it comes to obeying the relatively few instructions that pertain to set-apartness unto their Bridegroom Yahweh Elohim Yahoshua they could not even give a care.  They have been brainwashed forever and a day that “The Torah” or “The Instructions” have been done away with because of Elohim’s favor.

Yahoshua said, “you shall know them by their fruits!” (Matt. 7:20)

Just look at the fruit of “Christianity” in the western world.  Can any rational and logically thinking person honestly say that the fruit of “the church” is better than that of the world? NO!!!!!  It is rotten and it stinks!

There is yet a third reason that Yahoshua had to die that supersedes and precedes both of the first two reasons.

Yahweh Elohim Yahoshua made an unconditional covenant of grace with our father Abraham.

Most of the body of Yahoshua, including our presbytery, do not understand ancient Semitic covenants, thus we do not really understand or relate to the picture that is given us in Bereshith / Genesis 15.

v.7 “And he said unto him, I am Yahweh that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it. V.8 And he said, Master Yahweh, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it? V.9 And He said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon. V.10 And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not. V.11 And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away. V.12 And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him. V.13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; v.14 And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance. v15 And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age. V.16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full. V.17 And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces. V.18 In the same day Yahweh made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: v.19 The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, v.20 And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, v.21 And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.”

There are 9 parts to ancient Semitic covenant.

1) Take off your robe or coat ~ Matt 27:31, 35
2) Take off your belt (finances & sword) ~ Matt 26:15, Ibrim/Hebrews 13:5-6
3) Cut animal(s) in two pieces. ~ John 19:23-24
4) Raise the right arm and swear and mix the blood. ~ John 19:18, Luke 23:34 & 43
5) Exchange of names. ~ Rev 3:12
6) Make a scar. ~ John 20:25
7) Write down terms of the covenant ~ The Holy Bible
8) Eat a memorial meal. ~ Luke 22:15-16, Rev 19:9
9) Plant a memorial tree. ~ John 19:19, 1 Peter 2:24

One of the nine steps of covenant is the exchange of vows under oath.  For a comprehensive teaching on the covenant of pieces please see the teaching “Covenant Of Pieces” by Rico Cortes of Wisdom In Torah Ministries.

Now, “The Scriptures” tell us that our father Abraham was sleeping deeply while Yahweh Elohim Yahoshua was making covenant.

Bereshith / Genesis 15:12 “And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.”

Because Abraham was asleep Yahweh Elohim Yahoshua made all the conditions of the covenant dependent upon Himself alone.  Part of the oath exchanged during ancient covenant was, if either party or their descendants broke the covenant then what had happened to the animals that were cut in pieces and whose blood was shed would happen to the one who is guilty of breaking the covenant.

In establishing and making covenant with Abraham, while he was sleeping, Yahweh Elohim Yahoshua was establishing that if Abraham or any of his descendants broke covenant with Yahweh that He would die for them and shed His blood for them in their place!

Ibrim / Hebrews 6:17-18 “In this way Elohim, resolving to show even more clearly to the heirs of promise the unchangeableness of His purpose, confirmed it by an oath, v.18 so that by two unchangeable matters in which it is impossible for Elohim to lie, we might have strong encouragement, we who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the expectation set before us,”

Now dear loved one, you know the full gospel and you truly understand the answer to the question,”Why did Yahoshua have to die?”

THE MOST IMPORTANT BLOG I HAVE EVER POSTED!

Basic Scripture Study 101 by Michael Klopp

(POSTED WITH PERMISSION FROM THE AUTHOR)

We must check out what we are told Scripture says, for haSatan is a deceiver subtly twisting the Word of YHVH. Be like the noble Bereans and check the Scriptures to see if what you are told is so! Do not take my word as the truth without checking it out against Scripture! This will result in showing yourself approved unto Elohim.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show yourself approved unto Elohim, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

There are basic precepts in the Scriptures that CANNOT be changed; I am going to cover seven of them here. They will serve as a foundation that each chapter will build on. If your foundation is not built on ‘our Rock’ your house will not stand when the winds and rain (storms) come!

Matthew 7:24-27 Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26. And every one that hears these sayings of Mine, and does them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

These are Yahshua’s words, very plain and simple. To become a disciple of His we need to DO what He says; NOT what others tell us their ‘interpretations’ of what Yahshua said. We are told “we should ‘walk’ as He walked”, 1John 2:6.

It is recorded in the ‘New Testament’ that Yahshua taught others to keep the Ten Commandments, yet there are many Christians who claim ‘the Torah is done away with’, or ‘it’s for the Jews’ and that they are ‘not ‘under’ the law’. Which would you believe and listen to?

The purpose of this study is to establish basic precepts laid down for us in the Scriptures; so you can see for yourself major flaws that are prevalent in many doctrines that cannot stand close scrutiny of what the Scriptures actually say. Anti-nomian doctrines are from haSatan himself and blatantly contradict Scriptures!

The choice is yours alone, you must choose the ‘road’ you want to travel and I pray that you will have ‘eyes to see’. Yahshua tells of the two roads in Matthew 7:13-14:

Matthew 7:13 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

With that said let’s proceed to study these basic precepts:

Isaiah 28:9-10 "Who is it he is trying to teach? To whom is he explaining his message? To children weaned from their milk, to those just taken from the breast? 10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little.

10 For precept must be upon precept.

All precepts in this study are based on precept # 6, that there must be at least two or three witnesses to establish any matter.

PRECEPT # 1 YHVH CANNOT/ WILL NOT Change. Seven Witnesses

Malachi 3:6 For I am YHVH, I change not; therefore you sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Psalms 33:11 But the plans of YHVH stand firm forever, the purposes of His heart through all generations.

Psalms 89:34 My covenant I will not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of My lips.

Psalms 102:27 But You are the same, and Your years shall have no end.

Psalms 111:9 He sent redemption unto His people: He has commanded His covenant for ever: holy and awesome is His Name.

Hebrews 1:12 And as a vesture shall You fold them up, and they shall be changed: but You are the same, and Your years shall not fail.

Hebrews 13:8 Yahshua the Messiah is the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

This first precept is of the utmost importance and needs to be comprehended in its fullness! Anything that may ‘seem’ to be a ‘change’ was a part of YHVH’s plans from the beginning and was foretold by YHVH to His prophets first, see precept # 3.

PRECEPT # 2 YHVH does not/cannot lie. (This is actually a continuation of precept #1) Five witnesses:

1 Samuel 15:29 And also the Strength of Yisrael will not lie nor turn back: for He is not a man that He should repent.

Numbers 23:19 Elohim is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent (change) : has He said, and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?

Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which Elohim, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

Malachi 3:6 For I am YHVH, I change not; therefore you sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Ezekiel 24:14 I YHVH have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent (change); according to your ways, and according to your doings, shall they judge you, says YHVH Elohim.

PRECEPT # 3 YHVH has told us the end from the beginning.

Seven witnesses

Amos 3:7 Surely YHVH Elohim will do nothing, but He reveals His secret unto His servants the prophets.

Isaiah 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure.

Isaiah 42:9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

Isaiah 44:7-8 And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for Me, since I appointed the ancient people? And the things that are coming, and shall come, let them show unto them. 8. Fear you not, neither be afraid: have I not told you from that time, and have declared it? You are even My witnesses. Is there an Elohim beside Me? yea, there is no Elohim; I know not any.

Psalms 25:14 The secret of YHVH is with them that fear him; and He will show them His covenant.

The following two verses are examples of YHVH telling ones who feared Him and loved Him what He was going to do before He did it:

Genesis 6:13 And Elohim said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Genesis 18:17 And YHVH said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;

Because of precept #3 we can find the Renewed Covenant is hidden in the writings of the Prophets. (Because it was a secret or mystery, Amos 3:7 above)

What exactly is the ‘New Covenant’?

Jeremiah 33:14 Behold, the days come, says YHVH, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Yisrael and to the house of Judah.

Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, says YHVH, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Yisrael, and with the house of Judah.

Jeremiah 32:40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from Me.

Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Yisrael; After those days, says YHVH, I will put My Torah in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.

Jeremiah 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know YHVH’: for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says YHVH: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Ezekiel 11:19-20 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh: 20. That they may walk in My statutes, and keep My ordinances, and do them: and they shall be My people, and I will be their Elohim.

Ezekiel 36:26-29 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. 27. And I will put My spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you shall keep My judgments, and do them.

The Renewed Covenant is getting a new circumcised heart and having the Torah written on it, receiving a new spirit that empowers us to DO IT. Read carefully verse 11 below and remember what Christianity used to tell us about “The Law” being impossible to keep. Another of the lies we inherited from our fathers. The key is ‘love YHVH with all your heart and all your soul’.

Deuteronomy 30:10 If you obey YHVH your Elohim and keep His commands and decrees that are written in this Book of the Torah and turn to YHVH your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul.
11 Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach.
14 No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.

PRECEPT # 4 There will be a re-gathering of both houses of Yisrael back to the land promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

There are many, many ‘witnesses’ to this fact, which is a whole study in itself. (See the Chapter on The Re-gathering).

Ezekiel 36:28-29 28. And you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you shall be My people, and I will be your Elohim. 29. I will also save you from all your uncleannesses (defilements)

Do you know how you become defiled or ‘unclean’? Or that coming near to YHVH in an unclean state is an abomination? Yisrael was thrown out of the land for things like this. If we hope to be regathered to eretz Yisrael we better know before hand what YHVH expects of us. (See chapter on Holy or Set-apart)

Ezekiel 11:21 But as for them whose heart walks after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, says YHVH Elohim.

What is detestable or an abomination to YHVH? These are foundational teachings laid out for us long ago in the Torah to show us what is acceptable and proper to YHVH and what is not! What foundation have you built upon? One that says ‘the ‘law’ is done away with’, that Christians don’t have to do these things? You just read what YHVH’s Word says the New Covenant is, are you going to obey men or Elohim YHVH? (Acts 5:29)

Luke 6:48 He is like a man building a house, who dug and went deep, and laid a foundation upon the rock: and when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house, and could not shake it: because it had been well built. 49 But the one who hears My words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete."

"He who has ears to hear, let him hear."

As YHVH is bound to His Word, He cannot lie, He is the same yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever, He does NOT CHANGE, so His commands (Word) reveal His character to us: Righteous, Merciful and Just. “Just” implies judgment!

PRECEPT # 5 There will be a judgment and you will be judged Eighteen plus witnesses!

Ezekiel 24:14 ff according to your ways, and according to your doings, shall they judge you, says YHVH Elohim.

Ezekiel 33:20 Yet, O house of Yisrael, you say, `The way of YHVH is not just.' But I will judge each of you according to his own ways."

Exodus 34:7 maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet He does not leave the guilty unpunished; He punishes the children and their children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation."

I have 15 more ‘witnesses’: Isaiah 2:4, 3:13, 11:4, 33:22, 51:5, Ezk. 7:3,4 8,9 & 27, 8:18, 9:10, 11:10ff, 18:30, Joel 3:12, Micah 4:3. I am sure there are many more also! Read alouds #1-6. (The read alouds are intended for group participation and can be cut out to give to the group before hand to read out loud at the appropriate time they are called for, to reinforce the precepts. They are listed at the end of this study)

Who is Yahshua?

John 1:1-2 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim.
2. The same was in the beginning with Elohim.

John 1: 14 The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

The word of YHVH had been so messed up, perverted and twisted by man that The Word had to come to show us the spirit of the law (Torah); for the letter of the law without the spirit of the law can truly ‘kill’.

Mark 7:7 But in vain do they worship Me, Teaching as their doctrines the precepts of men.

Read Jerm. 16:19! This pertains to both houses! For without the spirit of Torah Yisrael cannot walk in Torah as YHVH wants us to. Torah IS The Word of YHVH and The Word is Yahshua!

PRECEPT # 6 All things are to be established by two or three witnesses. Four witnesses.

As we are not to put to death anyone except by the word of two or three witnesses for their wrong doing, the same principle applies to what Scripture says about our eternal life i.e. ‘any doctrine that is a salvational issue (concerning your eternal life or death) will have at least two or three witnesses in Scripture.’ I believe that the more times a subject is mentioned the more importance YHVH attaches to it. Yahshua testifies to this precept in Matthew 18:16 and John 8:17. Read aloud #7 & 8.

Deuteronomy 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sins: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

Numbers 35:30 Whoso kills any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die.

Deuteronomy 17:6-7 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death. 7. The hands of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So you shall put the evil away from among you.

Matthew 18:16 But if he will not hear you, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

I feel very strongly that this precept, as we do it or ‘practice’ it, is a ‘shadow picture’ for our eternal life as well. If one wants to build sound doctrines (2 Timothy 3:16) anything in that doctrine must needs have two or more witnesses to be a salvational issue!

2 Timothy 3:16 Every scripture inspired of Elohim is also profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness.

1 Timothy 4:16 Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.

PRECEPT # 7 Judgment will result in living with YHVH or separation from Him (eternal death)

Ezekiel 33:18 If a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, he will die for it.

Ezekiel 33:19 But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live for doing it.

Ezekiel 18:5-9 But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right, 6. And has not eaten upon the mountains, neither has lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Yisrael, neither has defiled his neighbor’s wife, neither has come near to a menstruous woman, 7. And has not oppressed any, but has restored to the debtor his pledge, has spoiled none by violence, has given his bread to the hungry, and has covered the naked with a garment; 8. He that has not given lent at interest, neither has taken any increase, that has withdrawn his hand from iniquity, has executed true judgment between man and man, 9. Has walked in My statutes, and has kept My judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, says YHVH Elohim.

The ‘living’ and ‘dying’ spoken of in these verses is your eternal life. We all die physically sooner or later, but anyone can be as a spiritually dead person before YHVH. We all know of righteous people who die early deaths and evil unrighteous ones that live very long lives. If you die physically while spiritually dead you are S.O.L.!!!

Ezekiel 3:18-21 When I say unto the wicked, you shall surely die; and you give him not warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at your hand. 19. Yet if you warn the wicked and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul. 20. Again, when a righteous man does turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die: because you have not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at your hand. 21. Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he does not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also you have delivered your soul.

Jeremiah 16:11-12 Then shall you say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken Me, says YHVH, and have walked after other elohim, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken Me, and have not kept My Torah; 12. And you have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, you walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto Me

14. And I will be found of you, says YHVH: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places where I have driven you, says YHVH; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

DESTROYING THE FOUNDATIONS

Psalm 11:3 "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?"

1. Do you believe the Bible is the Word of God?

2. Do you believe there are any contradictions in the Bible?
*There are no contradictions in the Bible, only in our understanding.

3. Do you believe that Jesus is the Messiah?

4. Do you believe Jesus never sinned?

5. Do you believe that Jesus never would teach His followers to sin?

1. If I could show you in every Greek and English Bible on the planet that Jesus is not qualified to be the Messiah, would you still believe Him to be the Messiah?

Matthew 1:17 “So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Messiah are fourteen generations.”

In all Translations it tells you that there are 42 generations, but according to this lineage there are only 41. A generation is missing! Many have put forth different theories to this dilemma over the centuries. However, none have been 100% consistent in their logic to this day.

In addition, there are two separate lineages of Joseph. They both claim to be the lineage of Jesus, but Jesus still wouldn’t qualify in the lineage of David because Joseph was not his father but his “step-father”, so there is no relation. Now, nowhere in either manuscript is Mary’s name mentioned anywhere as being the lineage of Jesus. However, ever seminary and Bible college in the world falsely teaches that the lineage found in Luke 3 is that of Mary’s.

Luke 3:23-24 "And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli, v. 24 Which was the son of Matthat, which was the son of Levi, which was the son of Melchi, which was the son of Janna, which was the son of Joseph."

Mattithyahu 1:16 "And Yaʽaqoḇ brought forth Yosĕph the husband of Miryam, of whom was born יהושע who is called Messiah."

Correct Answer: If you go back to the Aramaic translations of Matthew you will discover that the Yoseph lineage found in Matthew 1:16 is not the lineage of Mariam’s husband, but rather Mariam’s father, who was also named Yoseph! Yoseph was an extremely common Hebrew name. Now with this corrected understanding and proper translation you have 42 generations and Yahoshua now comes from the lineage of His mother, Mariam, from the line of David, which is in direct fulfillment of all the Prophecy.

2. If I could show you that Jesus contradicts His own teaching in plain English, as well as in the Greek, would you still believe Him to be the Messiah?

Matthew 23:1-3 "Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, v.2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: v.3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not."

In verse 3 Jesus is plainly teaching that we must listen to the scribes and Pharisees and do all they command us to do! However, in Matthew 23:13-16 He is apparently contradicting His own Words and He is definitely contradicting Himself from Matthew 15:7-9.

Matthew 23:13-16 "But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. v.14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. V.15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. V.16 Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!"

Matthew 15:7-9 "Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, v.8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. V.9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."

Answer: See #5.

3. If I could show you where Jesus, in every English and Greek Bible, teaches you to sin or break "the Torah" would you still believe He is the Messiah?

Matthew 5:33-37 "Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths: v.34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: v.35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. V.36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. v.37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil."

Here Jesus states that we are not to swear at all and if we do swear we are of the Devil!

However, "the Torah", which Jesus supposedly came to fulfill, and not to destroy, (Matthew 5:17-19), specifically commands us to swear and to do so by the set-apart name of Yahweh Elohim!

Debarim / Deuteronomy 10:20 “Fear יהוה your Elohim. Serve Him, and cling to Him, and swear by His Name."

Answer: See #4.

4. If I could show you that Jesus taught against the fulfillment of the Prophecy of Messiah, would you still believe that He is the Messiah?

In addition to seemingly, teaching us to break the command of "the Torah" He also sets Himself up as anti-Messiah in denying the fulfillment of prophecy concerning salvation to the gentiles.

YirmeYahu / Jeremiah 12:16 “And it shall be, if they (the gentile nations) learn well the ways of My people, to swear by My Name, ‘As יהוה lives,’ as they taught My people to swear by Baal, then they shall be established in the midst of My people.

YirmeYahu clearly prophecies the gentiles must swear by the name of Yahweh if they desire to be the people of Yahweh Elohim.

Finally, Jesus is apparently contradicting Himself once again because He does not rebuke the Pharisees for their swearing in Matthew 23. As a matter of fact He seems to approve of swearing altogether!

Matthew 23:16-22 "Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor! V.17 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold? V.18 And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty. V.19 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift? V.20 Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon. V.21 And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein. V.22 And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon."

Answer: Wayyiqra / Leviticus 19:12 "‘And do not swear falsely by My Name and so profane the Name of your Elohim. I am יהוה."

The Hebrew manuscripts of MattithYahu 5:34 states,

"But I say unto you, do not Swear falsely; neither by Heaven; for it is God's throne:"

This is exactly what the Torah teaches, 100%! Yahoshua did not teach us not to swear nor to sin by destroying "the Torah".

In the first century the Pharisees taught the people it was ok to swear falsely as long as you did not swear falsely by the name of Yahweh Elohim of Hosts. Yahoshua was teaching against this false teaching as well as every other false teaching the Pharisees put forth.

Yahoshua was teaching, if you swear "yes", let it be a true "yes". If you swear "no", let it be a true "no". Anyone who would swear falsely (In other words, lies!) is of the Devil!

Yahonan 8:44 “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you wish to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it."

5. If I could show you that Jesus told you in plain English and in the Greek manuscripts that you have to obey the Pharisees and everything they say, would you still believe that He is the Messiah?

We already saw in Matthew 23:1-3 that Jesus commanded us to obey the Pharisees! If Jesus really did say this He would definitely be disqualified from being the Messiah.

Yahweh Elohim in no uncertain terms tells us that we are not allowed to add to His Word or subtract from it. If anyone was ever guilty of adding to His Words it was the Pharisees.

Debarim / Deuteronomy 4:2 “Do not add to the Word which I command you, and do not take away from it, so as to guard the commands of יהוה your Elohim which I am commanding you." Also, Debarim 12:32, Mishle / Prov 30:6, Revelation 22:18-19.

I’m now going to give you two examples of what Pharisees say you have to do:

The Pharisees say you have to put your right shoe on first and then your left and then tie the right shoe and then tie the left shoe and if you don’t do this then you are not following what Jesus says to do because He plainly says to hear and do whatever the Pharisees say.

In addition you have to wash your hands every time before you put anything in your mouth. You must use a specifically designated pitcher and then you must pour water over each hand from the pitcher and then you must repeat this process and then you must pray the following in Hebrew, “Blessed are you O LORD our God, King of the universe who has given us the commandment to wash our hands.”

Now, did Jesus really just command us to guard and do everything that the Pharisees say to do? Yes, in every English and Greek manuscript on the planet! That is a problem because

1. We have not been doing it!
2. The Pharisees add to "The Scriptures" and "The Scriptures" say not to do this!

In the Hebrew text of Matthew you will discover that Yahoshua actually says,

“All therefore whatsoever he bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.” MattithYahu 23:2

This agrees with The Writings of Yahoshua's half brother Ya 'acob.

Ya 'acob 1:22-25 "And become doers of the Word (Mosheh and the Prophets), and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. v.23 Because if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror, v.24 for he looks at himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what he was like. v.25 But he that looked into the perfect Torah, that of freedom, and continues in it, not becoming a hearer that forgets, but a doer of work, this one shall be blessed in his doing of the Torah."

Yahoshua taught us to listen to Mosheh and not the Pharisees because they teach "the Torah", but they do not do "the Torah"! Yahoshua did not teach us to follow the Pharisees and once again He did not contradict His own teachings.

The real question everyone needs to ask at this point is, In whom do you believe the Greek Jesus Christ or the Hebrew Yahoshua ha MaShiach?
