Yahoshua, the Messiah, the Son of Elohim

This Scripture study deals with the object of our worship, Who is Eloah, Elohim, the Father. The Son who is the Elohim of Yisrael and Y’shua the Messiah is shown in the correct biblical context. The use of Y’shua throughout the Scripture is also discussed.

Y’shua, the Messiah, the Son of Eloah

Debarim (Deut.) 6:4-5 “Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one! V.5 “And you shall love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your might.

This text is the Shama or Shâma´ (SHD 8085). The title is derived from the word Shama meaning to hear which is the first word of the text. The connotation of to hear means to hear and understand. The words are : Shama Yisrael YAHWEH Elohinu YAHWEH Ehad, or Hear O Yisrael YAHWEH our Elohim, YAHWEH is One.

The word God used in the English translation is generally understood as translating SHD 430 Elohim. However elohim is a plural word, (meaning judges, messengers and rulers) which can also be used in the singular. The singular word for God and the word more correctly associated with this word is the singular Eloah. The text at Deuteronomy 6:5 goes on to use the possessive suffix in YAWHEH Eloheik which in English is the Lord your God. Debarim (Deuteronomy) 6:3 uses the term YAHWEH Elohi as the God of thy Fathers. These are texts referring to a single being but Elohi can imply the plural suffix. Elohim is a plural word. Eloah is a singular word admitting of no plurality. Eloah is God the Father from Proverbs 30:4-5 who has a son. Those of the elect who have understanding can declare His title, Eloah or His name, YAHWEH.

This God, Eloah, is the God Most High, Who is the Father. This Most High God does not dwell among men (Acts 7:48). We are servants of the Most High God (Acts 16:17) who is identified from the Old Testament as the God of the Patriarchs. No one has ever seen this God or heard His voice (Yohanan 1:18; 1Timothy 6:16, 1 Yohanan 4:12,).

The title of YAHWEH, Elohim, the Father is Eloah. This title means JUDGE! Ezra shows that Eloah is the El of the Temple, to whom the house is dedicated (Ezra 6:16-17), and the object of worship there (Ezra 4:24; 5:1-2,5,8,13-16; 6:7-8) at Jerusalem (Ezra 5:17; 6:5). Eloah is the God of Heaven and Earth (Ezra 5:11; 6:9). Sacrifice is made to Eloah of Heaven (Ezra 6:3, 10). It was Eloah that caused His name, YAHWEH, to dwell at Jerusalem (Ezra 6:12). The priests are set in their divisions under the high priest and the Levites in their courses for the service of Eloah (Ezra. 6:18).

Eloah is El as Creator and The Rock of Salvation. Jeshurun (Yisrael) forsook Eloah who made him and was the Rock of his salvation (Debarim, Deut. 32:15) and he sacrificed unto demons (elohim) who were not Eloah or the rightful object of worship (Debarim, Deut. 32:17). Only Eloah is the rightful object of worship being the object of the Temple. He is the entity who deals with the Sons of God in Job Iyob. The name Eloah appears 45 times in Iyob. Eloah never has the article (although it is determined by the suffix in Hab. 1:11, and is found once in the construct in Ps. 114:7; Marvin H Pope El in the Ugaritic Texts; see also ‘eloah, R. Laird Harris et al., Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament, Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, 1980, p. 43). Eloah never occurs in combination with another divine name (ibid.).

Eloah is identified as the God of the revelation of Shemoth (Exodus) 34:6-7 as we see from its use in Nehemiah 9:17.

Shemoth 34:6-7 And יהוה passed before him and proclaimed, “יהוה, יהוה, an Ěl compassionate and showing favour, patient, and great in kindness and truth, v. 7 watching over kindness for thousands, forgiving crookedness and transgression and sin, but by no means leaving unpunished, visiting the crookedness of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.”

Thus the YAHWEH passing before Mosheh was proclaiming the El who was understood to be Eloah as God.

Nehemiah 9:17 “And they refused to obey, and they remembered not Your wonders that You did among them, and hardened their necks, and in their rebellion they appointed a leader to return to their bondage. But You are a forgiving Eloah, showing favour, and compassionate, patient, and of great kindness, and did not forsake them.

Daniel 11:37-39 shows that the great anti-god has a god or eloah, which is strength itself. Thus, Eloah is seen as the proper title of God the Father and object of reliance. Eloah is the equivalent for Elah[h] the name for God in the biblical Aramaic. This God is the Almighty as we see from its use in Job. Eloah is the basis for the name All’ah of Islam.

Eloah occurs three times in parallel to rock as a descriptive term for God (Deut. 32:15; Ps. 18:31 [H 32]; Isa. 44:8). Conversely, Eloah is used three times in the context of terror for sinners (Ps. 50:22; 114:7; 139:19). The entity Eloah, the Father, is the creator and sustainer of the universe (Gen. 1:1; Neh. 9:6; Ps. 124:8; Isa. 40:26,28; 44:24; Acts 14:15; 17:24-25; Rev. 14:7). By His will all things were created and exist.

Revelation 4:8-11 And the four living creatures, each having six wings, were covered with eyes around and within. And they do not cease, day or night, saying, “Set-apart, set-apart, set-apart, יהוה Ěl Shaddai, who was, and who is, and who is coming!” v.9 And when the living creatures give esteem and respect and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, v.10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and bow before Him who lives forever and ever, and they cast their crowns before the throne, saying, v.11 “You are worthy, O יהוה, to receive esteem and respect and power, for You have created all, and because of Your desire they are, and were created.”

This object of the worship of the Lamb and the Council of the Elders is the God who is the Father. This Council of Elders is the heavenly government of God also properly called by the title of the delegated authority, Elohim.

El before the beginning

Elohim existed alone before any other entity. He was alone before the beginning. Thus, He alone was pre-existent as Father, Son and Spirit.

Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 43:10 “You are My witnesses,” declares יהוה, “And My servant whom I have chosen, so that you know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no Ěl formed, nor after Me there is none.

Before Him no El was formed nor shall there be after Him. Thus, He is the First and the Last, the Alpha and the Omega.

The extension of Eloah to Elohim as a plural structure is also reflected in the use of YAHWEH (Strongs Hebrew Dictionary (SHD) 3068) and (SHD 3069). There are multiple beings who are termed YAHWEH, in the OT. YAHWEH is understood as Yisrael’s national El and is referred to as Adonai by Yehudim when reading the name. YAHWEH is understood as the El and is referred to as Elohim by Jews when reading the texts. Two beings are involved. That is why YAHWEH was changed to Adonai 134 times in the OT by the Sopherim. YAHWEH is a delegated family name extending to multiple beings as was the case when three YAHWEH’s appeared and spoke to Abraham before the destruction of Sodom and three surrounding cities and two of them went on to Lot at Sodom. There was a fourth YAHWEH in Heaven who rained fire down on Sodom (cf. Gen. 19:24). These texts were changed by the Sopherim, due to the prejudice of their religious system of thinking and in direct violation of the command of Scripture. (Debarim (Duet. 12:32, Mishle’ Prov. 30:6, Rev. 22:18-19 and Shemoth 20:7 (cf. Companion Bible Appendix 32).

Eloah existed in His abiding perpetuity. He alone was immortal (1Timothy. 6:16).

Eloah is King of the ages (1 Timothy. 1:17) and God of the ages (theos tõn aiõniõn, cf. Yeshayahu (Isaiah 9:6; Yiremeyahu (Jeremiah) 10:10). Eloah extended the capacity to be immortal to the children of Elohim from their creation.

The beginning

Eloah began to create. The first act of creation, by generation, were His Sons who formed the first Elohim, by delegated authority. This was the spiritual creation. These Sons of Eloah were multiple. Ruah ha Chodesh (the Holy Spirit) was the power or divine essence which connected these elohim and which enabled them to be at one with Him.

The Council of the Elohim as Sons of El

The Sons of Eloah were arranged in a structure. They were governed by a Council, which is demonstrated in the Book of Revelation. It consists of twenty-nine entities who surround the throne of Eloah. There are twenty-four elders under a high priest. There are also four seraphim (termed living creatures because of the heads they display). Ha Satan was the anointed covering Cherub over the throne of Eloah (Ezek. 28:14).

This council is called the Council of the Elohim (Judges, Rulers, Messengers) or the Council of the Gods.

We know, from Debarim (Deuteronomy) 32:8-9, that Eloah the Most High allocated nations according to the Sons of Elohim (bene Eliym; DSS) or the messengers of Elohim (‘agellon theou; LXX). It is alleged the Masoretic Text was altered, sometime after Ha MaShiach, to read according to the number of the Children of Yisrael.

Deuteronomy 32:8-9 When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of men, he fixed the bounds of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God. 9 For the LORD’s portion is his people, Jacob his allotted heritage. (RSV)

For Comparison: Debarim 32:8 “When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance When He separated the sons of Aḏam, He set the boundaries of the peoples According to the number of the children of Yisra’ĕl. ~ The Scriptures

Either way, I believe both renderings reveal the same Truth when rightly understood. Everything in the natural is a shadow picture of the Heavenlies.

The Stars of El

The Most High Eloah is identified as the Father and maker from Deuteronomy 32:6.
Debarim (Deuteronomy) 32:6-7 “Do you do this to יהוה, O foolish and unwise people? Is He not your Father, who bought you, Who created you and established you? V.7 “Remember the days of old, Consider the years of many generations. Ask your father and let him show you, Your elders, and let them say to you:

Thus, the Most High is the Father and the Sons of Eloah are the elders. YAHWEH in this text is the subordinate Elohim of Yisrael, by positional authority only, not by relational value! (Phil. 2:6-8) YAHWEH allocated the elohim to the nations according to their numbers, which is in fact seventy. There is both an inner and an outer Council of Elders or Elohim. The YAHWEH of Yisrael has been delegated a seat in the Council, by divine design of the Supreme Elohim. He was anointed as the El of Yisrael to establish the plan of salvation of Elohim, which was necessitated from the Garden of Eden and the rebellion of the Host, when Satan had been placed over the Garden of Eden. Yehezkel 28:13

This title of Morning Star was multiple from the creation and is extended to Ha MaShiach and the elect.

Iyob 38:4-7 Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if you have understanding. V.5 Who set its measurements, if you know? Or who stretched the line upon it? V.6 Upon what were its foundations sunk? Or who laid its corner-stone, v.7 when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of Elohim shouted for joy?

Phillipians 2:15 in order that you be blameless and faultless, children of Elohim without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,

The Day Star or Morning Star is to dawn in our hearts (2 Kepha (Peter. 1:19). We are given of the Morning Star through Messiah (Rev. 2:28; 22:16). All are subordinate to Eloah Most High, by delegated authority according to the Heavenly design.

The Son who was Elohim of Yisrael

Yisrael understood this relationship of superior and subordinate elohim. The Father was understood as The Superior or Most High God. He was alone as Eloah, the El of El. The Son of God anointed as Yahovah or Elohi of Israel was subordinate by divine arrangement.

Mismore (Psalm) 45:6-7 Your throne, O Elohim, is forever and ever; The sceptre of Your reign Is a sceptre of straightness. V.7 You have loved righteousness and hated wrongness; Therefore Elohim, Your Elohim, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.

The entity here was the Elohim of Yisrael we understand as Y’shua Ha MaShiach.

Ibrim (Hebrews) 1:8-9 But to the Son He says, “Your throne, O Elohim, is forever and ever, a sceptre of straightness is the sceptre of Your reign. v.9 “You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness.Because of this, Elohim, Your Elohim, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”

Up until the incarnation of Y’shua Ha MaShiach His authority was as the second one of the Elohim. He was the spokesman for the Elohim and when He acted they were seen to act. He was advanced above His partners from His resurrection as Son of Elohim in power through Ruah ha Chodesh.

Romans 1:4 Who was designated Son of Elohim with power, according to the Set-apart Spirit, by the resurrection from the dead: יהושע Messiah, the Master of us,

This plurality of the elohim is seen from the Philistine’s comment.
1Shemuel (Samuel) 4:8 “Woe to us! Who shall deliver us from the hand of these mighty Elohim? These are the Elohim who smote the Mitsrites with all the plagues in the wilderness.

The mighty gods here are literally a plurality of elohim themselves. Thus, the YAHWEH of Yisrael, Y’shua, spoke for the elohim. The Son of Elohim in command of Yisrael acted at the authority and behest of the Council who were his partners (metoxous Ps. 45:6-7 LXX; Heb. 1:8-9). The nations understood also the plurality of the elohim.

1 Malakim (Kings) 20:10 And Ben-Haḏaḏ sent to him and said, “The mighty ones do so to me, and more also, if enough dust is left of Shomeron for a handful for each of the people who follow me.”

Here is the elohim, by delegated authority, who rebelled against the Elohim who empowered them . (Eph. 6:12, Rev. 12:4) Thus Ben-hadad acknowledged the elohim.

The YAHWEH of Yisrael judges among the elohim.

Psalm 82:1 Elohim stands in the congregation of Ěl; He judges in the midst of the elohim.

Here, Elohim, Y’shua has taken his place among the Elohim in the assembly of Eloah. In the midst of the elohim He holds judgment. The text continues on to extend the Sonship to the entire Host. As we know, this was understood to extend to the elect from Irenaeus.

Psalm 82:6 I, I said, “You are elohim, And all of you are sons of the Most High.

Among the elohim there is held to be none like unto YAHWEH, Y’shua the chief Elohim over all the elohim.

Psalm 86:8 Arise, O Elohim, judge the earth, For You shall possess all the nations.

Y’shua of the New Testament

It is important that we understand what’s happening in the NT and where the name Jesus comes from and what its usage is intended to achieve.

Jesus was not the name of Jesus the Christ i.e. the Messiah. His name was Yahoshua / Y’shua or Jahoshua in the English usage, which is not a hard J but a soft J. The name Yoshua or Joshua has been consistent in English usage for thousands of years. It applies to both OT and the NT characters. The Greek of the NT uses the forms, which were found in the Septuagint translation of the Hebrew Scriptures, which were translated in Alexandria some three hundred years before Y’shua.

The Septuagint Scriptures were quite a remarkable achievement. They have standard Greek forms for the Hebrew words. Ièsous is the Greek of the Septuagint for the word Y’shua or Joshua of the OT Scriptures. The Septuagint was The Scriptures of the NT. Most of the quotes from the NT are from the Septuagint (LXX) version. The Septuagint was accepted as Scripture at the time of Y’shua. (Acts 15:21) It was only attacked after the destruction of the Temple by the Pharisaical system, that is the rabbinical system, which became the successor to the Pharisaical system, quite some time into the second century.

So at the time of Y’shua there was no argument about the Septuagint being Scripture. Indeed it forms the basis for the NT. The Greek words in the Septuagint were used for the names of the characters in the NT church and that Greek was then translated into English much later. Many centuries later we developed the English version of the NT.

Now the problem was, that the word Y’shua / Yahoshua was translated from the word in the Greek that was written for Joshua, which occurs a number of times in the NT, and relates to a number of different people and is translated in different ways. For instance, in the KJV Hebrews 4:8 the word for Joshua was translated as Jesus consistently, so that the word Joshua throughout the NT was translated Jesus from the Greek Ièsous for Joshua. But Hebrews 4:8 refers to Joshua son of Nun and it’s acknowledged by all of the other Bibles as referring to Joshua the son of Nun. Bullinger in the notes to the Companion Bible acknowledges that Hebrews 4:8 does not refer to Jesus, in the sense of Christ, but refers to Joshua the son of Nun.

The other Y’shua / Yahoshua called Justus in Colossians is also referred to as Jesus called Justus (Col. 4:11). There are the antecedents of Christ in the lineages. In Luke 3:29 we read that Joshua was the son of Eliezer. Now this word translated Joshua is the Greek word for Joshua namely Jesus. No one seriously suggests that Joshua the son of Eliezer and father of Er is actually called Jesus. That is simply the Greek way of writing Joshua using the rule established from the Septuagint. The KJV disguises this fact by referring to Joshua here as Jose. This rule for the Greek rendering of Joshua is followed in Hebrews 4:8 and elsewhere. There is another person where Ièsous is used and it is translated as something else again. Variations of Joshua are the full version Jahoshua (or Yahoshua) and also Jeshua, Jeshuah, Hosea, Hoshea, Osea but the distinctions are also made in the Hebrew.

The comparative usage in the Septuagint can be seen from an examination of every instance of the word Yahoshua or Y’shua in the OT Hebrew and which is rendered in the English as Joshua. In every instance Joshua is rendered Jesus or Ièsous in the Greek. The word Jesus is a transliteration of the Greek and is not the correct rendering of the name in the English for consistency. The fact of the matter is the word Ièsous is the Greek for Joshua and when you are translating Greek into English using these Hebrew Scriptures, the Septuagint forms the rule. The rules of the names are that they are used in the accepted English sense, that the Hebrew Scriptures are translated into the English.

So when Ièsous is seen in the NT under the Septuagint rules, it refers to Joshua, which has been the standard application of the name for centuries. The Trinitarian scholars in the translation of the KJV into English, attempted to make a distinction between the NT and the OT and divorce the characters and the people in the NT from the OT, so that the continuity of the NT and the OT was disguised. Thus a division could be drawn between the law as it applied in the Bible. The Law of God in the OT was made distinct from what was happening in the Christ-event (Messianic event of Y’shua, the Messiah in the NT). So they called him Jesus the Christ which means Jesus the Anointed One. Y’shua the Messiah means Y’shua the Anointed One. So the word as it applies to the Anointed One is rendered in the English in the OT Messiah and there was more than one anointed one.

So Joshua is the correct form of Ièsous in the Greek. If you are a Greek, then no doubt in your phonetic structure, you would still refer to the NT structure in the Greek and no doubt when you are reading the OT you will still read (or should read) Joshua as Ièsous also for consistency, because that is what it is in the LXX. We are not concerned with speaking in Greek. We are concerned with speaking in English, in English translations relating back to the characters of the Bible so that there is a clear and consistent structure developed, and that the NT is not divorced from the OT.

There is one Bible, totally interdependent for authority and coherence. It is most important that we all understand that fact. It is most important when the Bible is translated into other languages, that the characters in the NT with those names are translated in the correct way. They then bear the names that those characters would bear in the OT in the language to which it is being translated; whether in Russian, Ukrainian, French, German, Dutch, or whatever.

It is simply dishonest to make these distinctions and it serves no purpose other than to support the Trinitarian antinomian theology that was at the root cause of these manipulated translations in the first place. It is important that we restore the true intent and structure of the Scriptures.

Yahoshua is the correct, heavenly endowed name for the Messiah, because it means the Salvation of YAHWEH. Joshua son of Nun was named the Salvation of YAHWEH the Son of Endurance, meaning salvation comes from endurance. The meaning of the name of the Messiah was Salvation comes as the Son of YAHWEH. The salvation of Elohim comes from Eloah. That’s the significance of why the Messiah had to be named Yahoshua or Joshua in English and why the name Jesus conceals that fact altogether.

For instance when you are dealing with the mother of the Messiah, we see her name was Mariam and her name is Mariam consistently throughout the NT. Her sister’s name was Maria. So the name Mary is not a name that appears in the NT at all. It is an Anglicisation of Maria and Maria was not Y’shua’s mother. In every instance except one, where there is a shorter variation used, Mariam is the name of his mother and Maria is the name of his aunt. His father was Joseph. We understand that. They have no trouble getting to Joseph, but when they talk about Y’shua’s brothers, instead of applying the normal names in the English for his brothers, they disguise them.

These points have to be acknowledged. It serves no good purpose to continue to perpetrate a fiction of the Trinitarian Latin/English church establishment, that has done more damage to understanding the theology of the Scripture and the Laws of Elohim, than any other single institution in the English-speaking world. Y’shua would and will reject them as heretics. That does not mean that we have to follow in their errors. The truth of the Scripture must be restored clearly and coherently.

The El of elohims

The Lord is a great El and a king above all elohim.

Mismore 95:3 For יהוה is a great Ěl, And a great Sovereign above all elohim.
The elohim of the nations are held to be nothing (translated as idols).
Mismore 96:4-5For great is יהוה and greatly to be praised, He is to be feared above all elohim. V.5 For all the mighty ones of the peoples are matters of naught, But יהוה made the heavens.

This YAHWEH is exalted above all elohim. This raises some important aspects about YAHWEH as a term as we have seen above.

Mismore 97:7-9 All are put to shame who serve carved images, Those boasting of matters of naught. Bow yourselves to Him, all you elohim. V.8 Tsiyon shall hear and be glad, And the daughters of Yehuḏah rejoice Because of Your right-rulings, O יהוה. v.9 For You, יהוה, are the Most High over all the earth, You shall be greatly exalted, over all elohim. V.10 You who love יהוה, hate evil! He guards the lives of His kind ones, He delivers them out of the hand of the wrong.

Here YAHWEH is identified as the Most High. Thus we are talking of two entities, YAHWEH of Yisrael and YAHWEH Most High. This YAHWEH Most High is above all Elohim, by position and authority. He is the one who has established every authority, principality and power! (Romans 13:1 & Eph. 6:12)

The High Priest and the El of elohims

Mismore 135:5 For I know that יהוה is great, And our Master is above all elohim.

Here Adonim or our Lord is the entity that is above all elohim. Hence the pre-eminence here is extended to the YAHWEH, Elohim of Yisrael. He is thus allocated as High Priest of the Elohim. He is not however Elohim of Elohim. That is reserved for the Eloah or YAHWEH Most High whom we call Abba or Father.
Mismore 136:2 Give thanks to the Elohim of elohim! For His kindness is everlasting.

He alone is adonim of the adonim or the Master of masters. He created by delegation and hence the plurality of the text in Yiremeyahu (Jeremiah) 10:10-11.

Yiremeyahu 10:10-11 But יהוה is truly Elohim. He is the living Elohim and the everlasting Sovereign. At His wrath the earth shakes, and nations are unable to stand His displeasure. V.11 Say to them this, “The elah1 that did not make the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth and from under these heavens.”
There is only one true Elohim as we see. He is the living El and everlasting King. The one true El made the earth by His power and wisdom.

Yiremeyahu 10:12 He has made the earth by His power, He has established the world by His wisdom, and has stretched out the heavens by His understanding. V.13 When He makes His voice heard, there is a roaring of waters in the heavens. And He makes vapours rise from the ends of the earth. The lightnings for rain He has made, and brings wind from His treasuries.

This act of creation was effected by Eloah. The creation was carried out by Messiah, the first-begotten of the creation as a title of supremacy, not by birth order.

Col. 1:15-20 Who is the likeness of the invisible Elohim, the first-born of all creation. V.16 Because in Him were created all that are in the heavens and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or rulerships or principalities or authorities – all have been created through Him and for Him. V.17 And He is before all, and in Him all hold together. V.18 And He is the Head of the body, the assembly, who is the beginning, the first-born from the dead, that He might become the One who is first in all. V.19 Because in Him all the completeness was well pleased to dwell, v.20 and through Him to completely restore to favour all unto Himself, whether on earth or in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of His stake.

In Y’shua all the fullness of the Elohim was pleased to dwell. Thus, Y’shua is the instrument of Elohim as the beginning of His creation. He was the firstborn from the dead so that in all things He might hold the supremacy. However, all things have one Father and one origin and one creator who alone is the one true Eloah by position in the Elohim.

Malachai 2:10 Have we not all one Father? Did not one Ěl create us? Why do we act treacherously against one another, to profane the covenant of the fathers?

The Father is the Lord of Hosts

Malachai 1:6 “A son esteems his father, and a servant his master. And if I am the Father, where is My esteem? And if I am a Master, where is My fear? said יהוה of hosts to you priests who despise My Name. But you asked, ‘In what way have we despised Your Name?’

He extends the position of Fatherhood to the elohim by delegation. Isaiah 9:6 extends the Fatherhood to Ha MaShiach (The Messiah). There are many Fatherhoods (Patria) in heaven and earth and they are named for the Father.

Ephesians 3:14-15 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Master יהושע Messiah, v.15 from whom all fatherhood in the heavens and earth is named.

The Incarnation

Hebrews 1:6 refers to the first-begotten being brought into the world. This entity, the first-begotten (prõtotokos) of every creature of Colossians 1:15, is identified as the Son. The Son is also the prõtotokos of Mariam (or Mary) (Mat. 1:25; Lk. 2:7). The Son was also the prõtotokos among many brethren. Thus, the term applies to the first in a series, which is identified by the qualifier. All throughout Scripture the term first-born son has nothing to do with birth order, but rather it is used as a title of Supremacy in the delegation of Heavenly authority.

Examples include: Seth not Cain, Isaac not Ishmael, Jacob not Esau, Ephraim not Rueben.

Some attempt to assert that Mariam (Mary) had no other children. This is false. Y’shua had brothers and sisters (Mat. 13:55-56). The names of the brothers of Y’shua were: Jacob, called James by the Pagans; Joseph, called after his father; Yahudah called after his tribe, called Jude; and Simon. His sisters’ names we do not have as a record, but these names are quite clear and distinct and they are carried in the English through from the OT. There is quite an obvious reason why they were changed.

That is to deny that Y’shua had brothers and sisters and to elevate Mariam to the mother goddess figure of the Easter system. To deny that Mariam (Mary) had other children, is a bit inconvenient when you have Yoseph being named as Mariam’s son, one of Y’shua’s brothers, and his father’s name was Yoseph. It is quite obvious that he was carrying his father’s name. They are the family names you would expect to see in Y’shua’s family.

Ha MaShiach is also here the firstborn from the dead. He is thus the beginning as the head of the body. In this same context he was also the beginning of the creation of Elohim (Rev. 3:14). The entire structure was created by Elohim through delegation of authority and thus divine order. The pre-eminence of the Messiah is gained from the plan of Elohim from the beginning.

We know from John 17:3 and 1John 5:20 that this One True El is the Father and that Y’shua Ha MaShiach is His son.

John 17:3 “And this is everlasting life, that they should know You, the only true Elohim, and יהושע Messiah whom You have sent.

1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of Elohim has come and has given us an understanding, so that we might know the true One. And we are in the true One, in His Son יהושע Messiah. This is the true Elohim and everlasting life.

The one true El is eternal life. We have been given this understanding by the Son of El in order that we might know Him who is true and that we might be in Him who is true and in His son Y’shua Ha MaShiach. This one true Elohim is eternal life. Only He is immortal.

1 Timothy 6:13-16 In the sight of Elohim who gives life to all, and of Messiah יהושע who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate, I charge you: v.14 that you guard the command spotlessly, blamelessly, until the appearing of our Master יהושע Messiah, v.15 which in His own seasons He shall reveal – the blessed and only Ruler, the Sovereign of sovereigns and Master of masters, v.16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or is able to see, to whom be respect and everlasting might. Amĕn.

Y’shua had to lay aside His eternal life and power and assume human form. He laid down His life by divine arrangement with the Father and took it up again by command of the Father (Jn. 10:17-18).

John 10:17-18 “Because of this the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life, in order to receive it again. V.18 “No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to receive it again. This command I have received from My Father.”

Elohim thus gives life to all things.

The Second Coming

The appearing of the Son of Elohim is made manifest at the proper time by the only Sovereign who is SOVEREIGN of SOVEREIGNS and Master of Masters and who alone has immortality. He delegates to the Son these aspects to establish the Kingdom of Elohim as we see from Revelation 17:14 and 19:16. These names/titles are established on the robe and the thigh of Messiah.

Revelation 19:11-16 And I saw the heaven opened, and there was a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Trustworthy and True, and in righteousness He judges and fights.v.12 And His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns, having a Name that had been written, which no one had perceived except Himself. V. 13 and having been dressed in a robe dipped in blood – and His Name is called: The Word of יהוה. V.14 And the armies in the heaven, dressed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. V.15 And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations. And He shall shepherd them with a rod of iron. And He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Ěl Shaddai. V.16 And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written: SOVEREIGN OF

SOVEREIGNS AND MASTER OF MASTERS.

Elohim acts through the Son of Elohim as designated High Priest

The Word of Elohim is the Son of Elohim and He is Elohim. This one was with the most High Elohim in the beginning and He was the most High Elohim. (Yohanan 1:1) This one was with (or towards) The God (ton theon) and this one was Theos or Elohim. All of the system of Elohim and delegated Elohim will be consolidated under these entities and the temple system will be restored intact, both in Heaven and on Earth.

Elohim chose to act by delegation to His Holy One who then anointed the King of Yisrael as we see from Mismore (Psalm) 89:18-20.

Mismore 89:18-20 For יהוה is our shield, And the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl is our Sovereign. V.19 Then You spoke in a vision to Your kind one, And You said, “I have given help to one who is mighty, I have exalted one chosen from the people. V.20 “I have found My servant Dawiḏ; With My set-apart oil I anointed him,

The Heavenly system was replicated in the earthly Temple of Yisrael from the Tabernacle, which culminated with the Temple of Shelomoh (Solomon).

Ibrim (Hebrews) 8:5 who serve a copy and shadow of the heavenly, as Mosheh was warned when he was about to make the Tent. For He said, “See that you make all according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.”

We also see that there were two anointed covering cherubs or Cherubim in the tabernacle, (Shemoth Ex. 25:18-22) covering the two on the Ark of the Covenant. The Cherubim also included the four living creatures. There were however only two, the man-headed and lion-headed Cherubim, in the outer section of the Temple of Ezekiel on either side of the Palm tree that is Ha MaShiach (Yehezlel / Ezekiel 41:19). Ha Satan was placed with an anointed guardian cherub on the mountain of Elohim (Yehezkel 28:14).

Yehezkel 28:14-18 “You were the anointed keruḇ that covered. And I placed you, you were on the set-apart mountain of Elohim. You walked up and down in the midst of stones of fire. V.15 “You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you. V.16 “By the greatness of your trade you became filled with violence within, and you sinned. So I thrust you from the mountain of Elohim, and I destroyed you, O covering keruḇ, from the midst of the stones of fire. V.17 “Your heart was lifted up because of your loveliness, you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendour. I threw you to the earth, I laid you before sovereigns, to look at you. V.18 “You profaned your set-apart places by your many crookednesses, by the unrighteousness of your trading. Therefore I brought forth fire from your midst. It has devoured you, and I turned you to ashes upon the earth before the eyes of all who see you.

Here, we see ha Satan being termed the king of Tyre. He was cast to the earth. He was the light bearer or Lucifer, the Morning Star or Day Star of this planet.

Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 14:12-15 “How you have fallen from the heavens, O Hĕlĕl, son of the morning! You have been cut down to the ground, you who laid low the gentiles! V.13 “For you have said in your heart, ‘Let me go up to the heavens, let me raise my throne above the stars of Ěl, and let me sit in the mount of meeting on the sides of the north; v.14 let me go up above the heights of the clouds, let me be like the Most High.’ V.15 “But you are brought down to the grave, to the sides of the Pit.

Here, the Light Bearer or Morning Star tried to ascend above the Stars of Elohim and be like the Most High Eloah. Ha Satan was not content with being one of the Stars of Elohim and a Son of Elohim as the anointed covering cherub. He wanted to be Eloah the Most High.

Not content with being in the form of Eloah, possessing the divine nature, Ha Satan wanted to seize equality with Eloah. For this reason he was cast to the earth. Yet he still retained access to the throne of Eloah.

Iyob 1:6 And the day came to be that the sons of Elohim came to present themselves before יהוה, and ha Satan also came among them. These Sons of Elohim had rebelled against the will of Elohim on the other side of the flood as we see from Yohashua 24:14-15.

Yohashua 24:14-15 “And now, fear יהוה, serve Him in perfection and in truth, and put away the mighty ones which your fathers served beyond the River and in Mitsrayim, and serve יהוה! V.15 “And if it seems evil in your eyes to serve יהוה, choose for yourselves this day whom you are going to serve, whether the mighty ones which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the mighty ones of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But I and my house, we serve יהוה.”

The rebellion was an ongoing process as we see from the conduct of the rebellious host.

Bereshith 6:2-4 That the sons of Elohim saw the daughters of men, that they were good. And they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. V.3 And יהוה said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever in his going astray. He is flesh, and his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” V.4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of Elohim came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, the men of name.

These Sons of Elohim were of the rebellious Host. They left their former estate and followed after lust.

Jude 6-7 And the messengers who did not keep their own principality, but left their own dwelling, He has kept in everlasting shackles under darkness for the judgment of the great day. V.7 Even as Seḏom and Amorah and the cities around them in a similar way to these, having given themselves over to whoring and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, undergoing judicial punishment of everlasting fire.

Y’shua did not seek to grasp equality with Eloah but gave his life by divine arrangement and deleagation of the most high Elohim. We examine this below. He did this to reconcile the Host, as High Priest.

Melchisedek was also understood to be priest of the Most High El and Messiah was understood to be another priest who was also a priest forever after the order of Melchisedek (Ps. 110:4; Heb. 7:1,11). This Master who was king David’s Master was the one referred to in Ps. 110:1 as being told to sit at the right hand of Abba YAHWEH Elohim until he made the enemies of David’s Master (Y’shua Ha MaShiach) His footstool. This Master who was Messiah was consecrated by The Master as a priest forever after the order of Melchisedek. This entity, The Master referred to here, is El the Father who is the Master of Messiah, by divinely arranged position of authority, and to whom it is certain that this text refers from Ibrim (Hebrews).

Y’shua is identified as the Son of the Most High El in the New Testament in Mark 5:7 and Luke 8:28.

Y’shua assumed human existence to be a sacrifice. This was prefigured in the temple sacrifice of Atonement where the high priest entered the Holy of Holies once a year with a blood sacrifice. Messiah did this as we see from Ibrim. This reconciliation by blood offering was to reconcile the Host to Eloah through the nature of El that El had given the Host. The rebellion had rejected this way of thinking and acting which was Eloah’s way. Y’shua was not equal to El, by His position only, as a Son, he was obedient.

Philippians 2:5-7 For, let this mind be in you which was also in Messiah יהושע,
v.6 who, being in the form of Elohim, did not regard equality with Elohim a matter to be grasped, v.7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, and came to be in the likeness of men.

The meaning is that equality with Eloah, Elohim was not to be grasped [as ha Satan had tried to do]. The arpagmon here means the act of seizing, or a thing to be seized, hence booty or a prize. Thayer observes this (p. 74) and explains the meaning of Philippians 2:6 under morphe (p. 418). This sense of equality was not seen as something to be clung to or retained.

The Sons of Elohim were all acknowledged to be angels or messengers for the Most High Elohim. They did nothing on their own authority. All of their activity was in accordance with the will of El. By divine arrangement Y’shua Elohim submitted to all authority delegated by Abba Eloah. Thus He did nothing of Himself from Bereshith to Revelation. This is our eternal example! (Luke 11:2; Yohanan 5:30).

Yohanan 5:30 “Of Myself I am unable to do any matter. As I hear, I judge, and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own desire, but the desire of the Father who sent Me.

The Elohim of Yisrael was a divine messenger. He appeared to Abraham and was the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The Elohim of Israel was also the Angel of Redemption as Jacob tells us.

Bereshith 32:1 And Yaʽaqoḇ went on his way, and the messengers of Elohim met him.

Whilst he was in contact with the divine messengers, and they were plural, he spoke of the Messenger of Redemption in the singular.

Bereshith 48:13-16 And Yosĕph took them both, Ephrayim with his right hand toward Yisra’ĕl’s left hand, and Menashsheh with his left hand toward Yisra’ĕl’s right hand, and brought them near him. V.14 And Yisra’ĕl stretched out his right hand and laid it on Ephrayim’s head, who was the younger, and his left hand on Menashsheh’s head, consciously directing his hands, for Menashsheh was the first-born. V.15 And he blessed Yosĕph, and said, “The Elohim before whom my fathers Aḇraham and Yitsḥaq walked, the Elohim who has fed me all my life long to this day, v.16 the Messenger who has redeemed me from all evil – bless the youths! And let my name be called upon them, and the name of my fathers Aḇraham and Yitsḥaq. And let them increase to a multitude in the midst of the earth.”

The Messenger of YAHWEH is identified as Y’shua Ha MaShiach and also as Elohim and Son of Elohim. He came as redeemer through the incarnation. He is thus the head of the elect who are the household of David under Messiah as Elohim. Zechariah 12:8 shows that this Elohim was also the Angel of YAHWEH.

Zechariah 12:8 “In that day יהוה shall shield the inhabitants of Yerushalayim. And the feeble among them in that day shall be like Dawiḏ, and the house of Dawiḏ like Elohim, like the Messenger of יהוה before them!

The Angel/Messenger of YAHWEH here is YAHWEH, Y’shua in the text (see Green’s Interlinear). This text shows that the Elohim of the texts was also the Angel of YAHWEH and that the household of David (in other words, the elect) will be as elohim also. The Elohim at the head of the household is Messiah. Remember elohim simply means rulers/messengers/judges by delegated authority from Heaven’s throne!

Revelation 1:5-6 and from יהושע Messiah, the trustworthy witness, the first-born from the dead, and the ruler of the sovereigns of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, v.6 and has made us sovereigns and priests (rulers and messengers) to His Elohim and Father, to Him be esteem and rule forever and ever. Amĕn.

1 Corinthians 6:1-3 Should any of you, holding a matter against another, go to be judged before the unrighteous, and not before the set-apart ones? V.2 Do you not know that the set-apart ones shall judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? V.3 Do you not know that we shall judge messengers? How much more, matters of this life?

Messiah here became the monogenes theos or only-born Elohim of John 1:18. While he was the prõtotokos of the Sons of Elohim, the Elohim, on death He became the only son to be born and hence the only-born Elohim or monogenes Theos. The Receptus has monogenes uion or only-born Son. Either way, he was the only elohim and son to be born – all other sons remained as spirits. We were not born as sons but are sons of the adoption.

Thus, there is a superior and subordinate Elohim. The superior Elohim was known as El Most High, or the Most High El (Gen. 14:18-20,22). Deuteronomy 32:8 shows that the Most High El divided the nations. As we have seen, according to the Masoretic Text (MT) it was according to the numbers of the children of Yisrael. However, the Septuagint (LXX) reads according to the number of the messengers of El. The DSS shows that the meaning from the Hebrew was according to the (sons of elohim) gods (or the bene Eliym). Yisrael became the portion of YAHWEH, Y’shua. This leads us into the distinction between the two YAHWEH’s of Scripture. The Scripturee is clear that there are two YAHWEH, Elohim. YAHWEH Most High (The Father) and YAHWEH of Yisrael (The Sons) and many other beings in Heaven and Earth also carry this name.

As we have observed above also Strong notes the distinction between YAHWEH El Most High and YAHWEH of Yisrael. When YAHWEH is used of the superior, it is usually accompanied by a qualifier such as YAHWEH of Hosts. The relevant numbers are SHD 3068 and 3069. Strong says of SHD 3068 YAHWEH that it is the Jewish national name of God. He says that SHD 3069 YAHWEH is used after Adonai [thus He is the Lord Yehovih] and pronounced by Jews as Elohim in order to prevent the repetition of the same sound, since they elsewhere pronounce SHD 3068 as SHD 136 Adonai – this being is Elohim.

The Yehudim are aware that there are two entities here as a superior and a subordinate. As we have observed, the Messiah is acknowledged to be the entity in Psalm 45:6-7 who was anointed by His El.

Zechariah 2:3 shows that the Messenger of YAHWEH (who here is obviously Y’shua Ha MaShiach) gave a message to Zechariah regarding his coming to Israel at the direction of YAHWEH of Hosts. The distinction shows clearly that we are talking of YAHWEH, Y’shua and Elohim the Father who is YAHWEH of Hosts.

Zechariah 2:8-12 For thus said יהוה of hosts (for the sake of esteem He sent Me to the gentiles which plunder you): “For he who touches you touches the apple of My eye. V.9 “For look, I am waving My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. And you shall know that יהוה of hosts has sent Me. V.10 “Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Tsiyon! For look, I am coming, and shall dwell in your midst,” declares יהוה. V.11 “And many gentiles shall be joined to יהוה in that day, and they shall become My people. And I shall dwell in your midst. And you shall know that יהוה of hosts has sent Me to you. V.12 “And יהוה shall inherit Yehuḏah, His portion in the Set-apart Land. And He shall again choose Yerushalayim.

The distinctions between the YAHWEH of Israel who is called Elohim and His Elohim who is called Eloah or El the Most High, YAHWEH of Hosts, is a distinction that is lost in the English where there is no other word for God. The intent is not transmitted to the readers.

Messiah will inherit Yahudah as His portion in the last days. He will again choose Jerusalem at his second coming. These activities of Messiah can then be broken down into sections by sequence.

WHO CARES WHAT ELOHIM'S NAME IS ANYWAY?!!!!

Set-apart or Profane?

The Set-apart Names of Scripture vs. Paganized Nicknames of Tradition

The following information is derived from the explanatory notes of The Scriptures. Originally published by INSTITUTE FOR SCRIPTURE RESEARCH (PTY) LTD, Republic of South Africa, Johannesburg, Northriding. I have added my thoughts at the end.

El: Mighty one, strength,
Eloah: singular form of Elohim has same meaning of El,
Elohim: Plural of Eloah, rulers, messengers,
Elyon, El Elyon: The most high El.

The word El is a very ancient Semitic term. Among Semitic languages it is one of the most used terms for greatness, strength or diety. In Hebrew religious usage it does not denote a proper name but is used as a title. It is used for the creator’s superiority over all other as a generic term in Daniel 11:36 “…the El of elahin…” El, Eloah, Elohim is to refer to the creator, but also applied to rulers, messengers, and persons. (Referring to Mosheh in Shemoth (Exodus) 4:16, “and it shall be that he shall be a mouth for you, and you shall be an Elohim for him.”). Also Mismore (Psalm) 82:1. Elyon is translated as most high. Used in Mismore 7:17, “and praise the name of YAHWEH (Elyon) most high.” The term “Eli” (my El) used by Messiah in the Messianc Writings in Mark 15:34 “Eli, Eli lamah shebaqtani”

Gad: Apart from Gad, the son of Ya’aqob (Jacob) there was another “Gad.” The astrologers of Babel called Jupiter (Zeus) by the name “Gad.” He was also well known among the Canaanites (the Kena’anites) where his name was often coupled with Ba’al, Ba’al Gad, which according to the Massoretic vowel pointing in the Book of Yehoshua (Joshua) is pronounced: Ba’al God. This same name is discovered in the ancient Germanic languages as Gott, Goda, Gode, God, Gud, Gade. And searching further back into its Indo-Germanic (Indo-European) roots, we find that it traces back to the word GHODH, which means “union,” even “sexual union.” No wonder this meaning is still evident in the Dutch and German gade. It is also not difficult to see it in the English “gadfly” and “gadding about.”

Jesus: Consider Iesous, rendered as “Jesus” in English versions up to now. For example the authoritative Greek-English Lexicon of Liddell & Scott, under Iaso: the Greek goddess of healing reveals that the name Iaso is Ieso in the Ionic dialect of the Greeks, Iesous being the contracted genitive form! In David Kravitz, Dictionary of Greek and Roman Mythology, we found a similar form, namely Iasus. There were four different Greek deities with the name of Iasus, one of them being the Son of Rhea. Further, it is well known that Ies is the abbreviated form of the name Iesous, and Dr. Bullinger, in The Apocalypse, p. 396, says Ies was part of the name of Bacchus! Also see Come out of her, My people, by C.J. Koster.

Lord: Substituting the Name of YAHWEH with “LORD” or Lord,” as has been done in most translations, is against all Scripture:

1) It is transgression of the Third Command(ment) which prohibits us from bringing His Name to naught, or falsifying it.

2) It is transgression of the command in Deb. (Deuteronomy) 4:2, “Do not add to the Word which I command you, and do not take away from it.” This is repeated in Deb. 12:32, Mish. (Proverbs) 30:6, Revelation 22:18-19.

3) YAHWEH reproves the prophets in Yirmeyahu. (Jeremiah) 23:36, “You have changed the Words of the living Elohim…”

4) “Lord” is not an innocent title. We trace it back to the Roman house-deity, and further back to the name of an Etruscan sovereign, Larth, not forgetting that in those days the sovereigns were deities! So this is the transgression of the clear command of Shem. (Exodus) 23:13

My personal thoughts: On the day I came into the covenant of Set-apart Matrimony with my wife Jenn she proceeded to call me by the nickname of endearment “baby”. Within 24 hours this acquired nick name about drove me insane! I told my sweetheart Jenn that she would have to find a new term of endearment for both our sakes.

Jenn reverently asked me what I would prefer to be called as her covenant partner. After careful consideration I told her I desired to be called “Sweet Baboo”. This is the term of affection she has called me by ever since that day. Now what if my wife did not reverence me and decided that she did not care to call me “Sweet Baboo” but instead would choose to call me “baby” according to her preference? I shudder to think!!!

Now, you and I are in a betrothal covenant of Set-apart Matrimony with our groom Yahoshua ha MaShiach if indeed we have been saved by His favor through faith. (Romans 10:9-10) He is w(holy) set apart unto us and we are called w(holy) set apart unto Him. He has always been called Yahoshua, he has never been called Jesus. Heaven called Him Yahoshua. His relatives called Him Yahoshua. His first apostles called Him Yahoshua. Don’t you think His bride, especially, should call our groom by His given name, Yahoshua? Yahoshua means "the salvation of Yahweh" or "Yahweh is our Savior". The name Jesus does not have any meaning at all!

Jesus is a relatively new name that has been introduced to the Christian community of faith since the printing of the first King James Bible. You read that correctly! The first King James Bible did not have the name Jesus, as such, anywhere in it! The letter J is a relatively new letter to the English language.

Now I was saved at the name of Jesus. I have had countless prayers answered at the name of Jesus. I have witnessed to multitudes of people whom have prayed to receive salvation in the name of Jesus. All that this proves is that Yahoshua is longsuffering and merciful toward us to the uttermost. He is the most wonderful groom in all of the Universe! However, one day His mercy and the measure of His favor to the unrepented and unregenerated sinner will cease and every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Yahoshua ha MaShiach is Yahweh, Elohim, Adonai!

Just because He has tolerated our learned ignorance for years due to the fact that He knows the thoughts and intents of our hearts (Hebrews 4:12) does not mean that He desires to be called by the learned name by the traditions of our fathers, “Jesus”. As a matter of fact every time we substitute His name Yahoshua for any learned pagan Greek nick name He has already told us that He hates it!

If it really isn’t about religion but about relationship why wouldn’t you want to learn everything that pleases your groom of betrothal covenant? Why wouldn’t you want to repent of everything He has already told you He hates? No longer use the names of the learned pagan tradition like God, Lord, Jesus and instead address Him as Yahoshua, Yahweh, El, Elohim, Adonai, etc. These are the names He gave to Himself!

While on the mission field of S. Africa I was introduced to a fellow servant. The man that introduced me to him called him Sponge-y. Now I thought this was an odd sort of name even for S. Africa, however I always called him by this name and he always answered to this name.

After many weeks I was impressed in my spirit to ask him to please say and spell his name for me. To my surprise he said his name is "Chunky". I asked him why then do we call you Sponge-y? He replied that he did not know why we called him Sponge-y and that everyone has always called him Chunky his entire life.

At this point I asked him why he always answered to the name Sponge-y and why he never corrected us when we were calling him by the wrong name. With a big smile on his broad face, he graciously answered, "I always knew you were speaking to me and I just figured sponge-y was a sort of nick name you had for me."

From this time forward we called this fellow servant by his true and given name, Chunky. Doesn't this true life account perfectly illustrate the graciousness of our Master Yahoshua. Can't you just see Him with a great big smile on His face, say to us, "I always knew you were speaking to Me and so I answered to Jesus every time because that is the nick name you learned to address Me by."

It is amazing to me what great lengths men will go to convince us (deceive us) the name Jesus Christ is the proper name of Yahoshua ha MaShiach.  Prayerfully consider the following.  In the English translations of the first century writings of “The Scriptures” (the New Testament) we observe Yoseph is always transliterated to read “Joseph”, Mariam is always transliterated to read, “Mary”, Yahrushalayim is consistently transliterated to read “Jerusalem”, Beyt Lechem is always transliterated to read “Bethlehem”, Beyt El is always transliterated to read “Beth El” and MattithYahu is consistently translated Matthew.
Are you beginning to notice a pattern here?  Do you see how beautifully these Hebrew words are preserved in the English translations of “The Scriptures”?  However, when it comes to Yahoshua ha MaShiach they leave every linguistic rule of grammar and, all the translation committees have unanimously agreed to, literally, change His name!  If they were 100% consistent the English transliteration would always read “Joshua the Messiah”.

One final thought, if you have no interest in pleasing Him according to His Word, which is His heart revealed to His bride, today, then why in the world do you think you will be interested in pleasing Him, which is the same as obeying Him, when He comes for His bride of covenant?

Philippians 2:10 that at the Name of יהושע Yahoshua every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,

Shalom, shalom,
Robert McDuffie ~ Mismore (Psalm) 119:18
